  1. Have been out snapping pics... Supes will be hitting the dyno this Saturday so we'll see what that uncovers, but in the meantime, the next jobs on the list are: fit electric passenger seat and get brake calipers painted/refurbished.
  2. Nicely done Matt. I might head over to the sxoc to see if any of those guys want to play.
  3. Bad influence! Anyone have any objections against inviting other cars along to make up the numbers?

  6. It's all happening this Saturday peeps so hurry up and get your place.
  7. Hi mate, I can pop round this week at some point. Maybe Thursday night? I'll drop you a text in a bit. Also, there's a load of us are heading up to a rolling road day at Austec this Saturday if you're interested? They'll be a lot of Supra heads up there and more than enough advice.
  8. Where in Southampton are you mate? I don't mind coming to have a look as I'm local.
  9. Hell yes. QUOTE=Chris Wilson;3843519]Uk turbos are smaller. Most have steel turbine blades, some are ceramic. IMHO and experience the Jap spec ceramics are infinitely superior. Much faster spool, more reliable, with far less danger of going "smoky" in old age. Given a choice a Jap spec engine would be my choice, by a big margin. Interesting that a larger turbo with pretty much the same internals would spool faster. So the jspec turbos are good for 1.3/1.4 bar of boost? My UK's are pretty spot on, but should they ever go (*touches wood), the obvious choice would be jspec replacements?
  10. Ahh, right...so they can withstand more heat.
  11. I thought the UK turbos were slighty bigger, hence why they can run more boost?
  12. My UK was completely stock, head unit, exhaust... even had the original owners manuals unopened.
  13. Keep 'em coming peeps. Any South/South West members fancy meeting for a mini convoy up??
  14. Bump! The rollers are getting closer peeps. Time to start getting some more names down.
  15. I wonder how hard it is to source a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust...
  16. Trickle chargers are good for maintaining a healthy battery, but if you battery was flat, it'll need a proper charge over night. You'll also need to investigate why it has died (check the alternator).
  17. Yeah, I would try jumping it. Trickle charge wont be much good. If it doesn't jump, check over the terminals. Good luck.
  18. That ticking will be your starter solenoid. Sounds like there isn't sufficient charge. Check the battery, battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections.
