  1. Does anyone have a set of road legal stock alloys I can borrow for a few days while mine get refurbished??
  2. Thanks dudes, I'll certainly be taking lots of pics! Regarding discounted tickets, I can ask, but having worked for Honda Racing and knowing how sparse they are even for employees, I wouldn't have a lot of hope. No harm in asking though.
  3. Glad to hear you got it sorted Shaun. You can put those monstrous tyres to good use now.
  4. Thanks Marcus. The shoot sounds a little doubtful, but just the thought of it would be a dream come true.
  5. Well... a pair of rear upper arms would be nice. In all honesty, I don't think they could warrant the purchase of a mint UK car when owners around the country would be willing to loan theirs. They are going to lend me a GT86 for a week while my car is on the stand. That along with free tickets to Goodwood for Sabrina and myself, plus the opportunity to have my car featured in the dawn of a new era for "Supra", its more than enough for me.
  6. Ha! The amount of red tape surrounding that car, I think I'd have more chance of getting a ride in the Pope box. Can you believe the FT-1 has its own minder from Japan who travels with the car?!
  7. As some of you may have already seen via the club's Facebook page, Toyota were looking for a MKIV UK Spec Supra in original condition to appear alongside the FT-1 at Goodwood this year. You could call it right place, right time, but it's happening... Supes will be getting prepped to the finest detail before he's handed over to Toyota on the 19th to be put on the stand. It's 50/50 at the moment, but they are also trying to organise a photo-shoot earlier that day in an aircraft hanger. If that happens, I've been invited to hang around and spectate the cars getting prepared and snapped in all their glory. Talk about Supranerd heaven.
  8. Yes, Windows 9 was god awful...... PMSL.
  9. Ah, fair enough. Not sure about no running in though! Would definitely want to change the oil and filter after 100 miles. That's just me though and Paul has a lot more experience with these engines.
  10. The reservation process was to stop people being annoyed with being told to update when it get pushed via their normal update channels. Regarding the installation, I'd be happy to be your beta tester as I'm itching to get Windows 10.
  11. Can't the engine be run-in on the dyno? Years ago we used to run-in outboard engines for race boats on our dyno. The dyno had a specific setting which would take it through the rev range and apply load accordingly.
  12. Sounds friggin awesome mate. Please tell me this is going to be at JAE.
  13. Lets just put it behind a tree or something.
  14. It was effin packed down there! What more do they want?!?
  15. Had a great time on Saturday. It was a shame we couldn't make Sunday, but it was good to meet some new faces and catch up with everyone else. And, I'm afraid the pink show stealer will also be at JAE this year Slam.
  16. Apart from the obvious ones when you come into Bournemouth
  17. It's correct. We're going to head there now and see if anyone is there
  18. Ohh sh1t... Did you want to meet me and Sabrina? Jump on the A31 and we'll slow down for you
