  1. Hi peeps, It's time to update the valuation on my insurance policy. Well, that's half of it... I'm also toying (emphasise on "toying") with selling. I have a figure in mind, but wanted to get an idea of what others thought. Spec is as follows: BPU UK Spec Auto 100k miles/FSH HKS FCD Chris Wilson SMIC Greddy Profec Boost Controller 3" Whifbitz Single Box Stainless System 2.5" Whifbitz Decats Tein Lowering Springs Facelift rear lights Kenwood 7 inch Wide VGA Multimedia System with USB/CD/DVD Receiver and Built-In Bluetooth Focal PC165 Coaxial Car Audio Speakers 6.5" (17 cm) 2-Way 120W SRD Speaker Brackets I bought the car three years ago in complete stock form, even down to the head unit and CD changer. Since then, it's been modified to BPU and maintained to the highest standard with no expense spared. I can't really fault the car. It runs like a dream, the underside is clean and the body/interior is in excellent condition for it's age. It always stays in my garage and only comes out during the summer months.
  2. Don't pay over 3.5k. People are making up the prices as they go at the moment.
  3. Congrats on the purchase. Lovely looking car.
  4. Hi Keron, a little birdie has told me you have a full 6sp conversion for sale?
  5. Wouldn't have a clue, but its worth mentioning what engine you're fitting UK/VVTI/facelift/prefacelift etc.
  6. Live 'n let live peeps. Not really my thing, but interested in seeing the finished article.
  7. Ah, I see. Shame you're the other end of this island as I would have loved to have lent a hand. Good to hear you're on schedule for JAE.
  8. Jesus Alex, thought you would have had the donor engine in by now! God speed dude... The clock is ticking for JAE.
  9. Thanks matey. TBH, I would only be interested in this conversion at this stage (if the OP decided to break) as its only got 1k miles on the box.
  10. I did try to dissuade her, but failed. I tried. Looking forward to it!
  11. Quite a large saucer section... I'd go with the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D).
  12. Hi mate, generally I don't really offer full wrapping services as I value my weekends too much, but if a member had somewhere suitable and we could arrange the right time to do it, I would be open to the idea.
  13. IIRC, vehicles have to be at least 25 years old before they can be imported in the US. You'd have to wait a few years, but the difference that could make might well be worth it.
  14. The US lot would go mental over this. "Alpine Silver" is the holy grail over there.
  15. This car is going to be epic. Coming along nicely.
  16. Car is looking awesome Jake. Go easy with that LSD.
  17. Either is fine mate, I don't mind. If you would like to me source it, I can get it ordered next week. We tend to use Avery or 3M.
  18. If we're both at JAE this year Gaz, I wouldn't mind giving you a hand.
  19. Some (a lot of) people can't drive and have no idea of their position on the road. Thank the lord you weren't in your supe.
  20. Thanks Dunk. Hope you're well. This is true. After further investigation I am swaying more towards the valve stem seals over the turbos so I'll get them ordered up from Mr T next week. Regarding how to take the car forward, it's an ongoing dilemma that, no matter how much I ponder on it, I can't make my mind up. I've always wanted a 6sp Single Supra. Part of me thinks I should, possibly, sell it to someone who would want to keep it as it is and buy another Supra which is already single/6sp, saving money I would have to spend on mine... and also not butchering a decent UK car. If I did the later, I know I would kick myself years down the line, but you can't have it all, I guess.
