  1. Must be priced factoring in the insurance write-off.
  2. Gorgeous wheels John. Great purchase.
  3. Great choice on the colour combo. A very refreshing change from the norm (on Ferraris). It looks awesome.
  4. Maybe it's just me, but I think some peeps overreacted a little bit here. When your car is on show, it's there to be judged. When my car was at Goodwood, Toyota told me other Supra owners/enthusiasts were commenting that my grill wasn't standard and where it the active spoiler (it just wasn't down at the time). It's just nitpicking and it comes a 'lil too natural for some. I don't doubt all the cars were stunning, but you'll never please some people.
  5. That's awesome Marcus! Apparently, the silver UK's had the option of cream or black.
  6. So, a couple of weeks ago I went up to Duxford for my car to featured in Modern Classics Magazine. It was a great day and awesome to meet other likeminded car heads. The magazine is relatively new (this being issue #2), but the guys seem like a great team and if this edition is anything like their debut, it'll be fantastic. I'd like to say a big thanks to Gaz for putting me in touch. It was a pleasure! If you get the chance, pop into WHSmith and grab yourself a copy. Just a little teaser for now... I'll upload more pics this evening.
  7. No probs. Thought I'd mention it as there can't be too many red UK 6sp's around. If you're not in hurry, you never know though.
  8. There is currently a red UK for sale in the classifieds section.
  9. Same here Bob and I adored my last Supra just as much as the current one. Make sure you get the doggy back in the picture next time though.
  10. IMO, it's down to Muslims worldwide to take back their religion and shut down ISIS. They're quick to hit the streets when a cartoon of Mohammed is drawn so they're not shy...
  11. I have the first one a little over 8 secs, but either way, I have a good indication to go on. Regarding NA Supra's... personally, I think a Supra is Supra. Some people aren't all about speed. The NA's sound great, look great and, yeah, they also drive great. This thread is merely to see if the car has any issue as it definitely feels unpowered.
  12. Dude... From the sounds of it, you wanted out.. and for good reasons. She knew this and that's why she posted those childish tweets. They were for your benefit and no one else's. Remember that. Getting over someone can be hard, especially if they are playing games as she seems to be doing. My advice: remember her for who she really was. Forget the good times and focus on how selfish and dark she really is to the core (from the sounds of it). It'll help. Without sounding too cheesy, this is the start of your 'love life'. You meet some good ones, you meet some horrific ones. Just be thankful you're a step closer to the person who truly deserves you, your family... and your best mate. Chin up.
  13. Judging by those videos, I really should be expecting something around 8.5 seconds to 60.
  14. Wow, well, this thread escalated quickly. 0-60 in the 6's?! That's amazing if it's true and something must be seriously up with the car. Abz, I'm going to take your advice buddy and see what it does.
  15. Thanks for the offer Andy, that's kind of you. I already have a TT - this is my girlfriends car.
  16. It seems people are split down the middle on this one. I'm going to get it on the rollers and see what it's putting down.
  17. How odd. Does the auto box sap that much power as the manual NA's aren't all that bad? I remember my old 5sp being quite slow, but once it was above 80mph, it was actually quite reasonable. I guess a TT transplant is on the horizon...
  18. Arseholes. A completely useless system and incompetent staff go a long way in their favour when it comes down to the cooling off period.
  19. Its very strange. In launch it pulls really well, gets into second... Meh... into 3rd and 4th and its a complete joke. No blue smoke (but will compression and leak down test it anyway), no misfires, brakes are totally free. I can't say if feels like the clutch is slipping... Its more like its sounds like you should be holding on for dear life, but the car is hardly moving. My old 2002 Focus really shouldn't be able to give it a run for its money, surely (low speeds or at high speeds).
  20. I'm genuinely thinking its under powered, tbh.
