  1. Sorry mate, I've just been informed it's not for sale. Apparently, my house is a Supra storage facility for my girlfriend. If I can convince her she doesn't need (which she doesn't), you'll be the first to know.
  2. It's all about personal preference really. If you don't feel like you have to be connected to the transmission and clutch, I'd recommend the auto as it's superb. I know I'm a madman for converting mine and there will be a lot of times where I will miss the auto box, but as mine isn't a daily driver, I feel I really need to be 100% in charge of the car for the driver experience.

    Europe

Probably just thinking about the impact it would have on the TTIP and how that would effect Canada.
  4. After investigating, I opted for the 3.2 SMG 420g as it can be easily converted to manual. It made sense going this route as the gearbox would have had less abused having the ECU in charge of the gear changes in it's former life.
  5. UK large case LSD. 1st and 2nd might be a bit savage, but it's all good fun.
  6. There are plenty of BMW 420g gearboxes out there. I don't know why someone would consider the 330d gearbox over it, apart from the price difference.
  7. I have one (inner boot cover). I'll check the condition in a bit.
  8. Come on peeps, try and be constructive if you want to help. We're all different, but threads like these is what makes the car scene for me. Nowadays it seems like people are more interested in showing off rather than having any passion for tinkering and learning as you go. Some of my fondest memories of my old cars consist of late nights with friends overcoming obstacles and eating junk food with dirty hands.
  9. Up until now, I haven't Frank. Wrapping doesn't seem to be a thing on here, but I would certainly be open to the idea.
  10. Yeah, Chris Wilson is your man.
  11. Personally speaking, if I wanted to be sneaky and jump at the chance of getting extra work, I would have sent a PM in the first place and every other opportunity I have had in the past. This was the first time I have offered my services to a forum member as I have seen, time and time again, the trade I take pride in get slated from poor workmanship. Further more, as a fellow UK owner, I admire Sheefa's car so it would be a pleasure to work on it. Regarding the forum rules, I appreciate the official traders need to be protected, however, I don't feel its right to censor paid up members in requesting information regarding services our traders do not offer. A car club should benefit the members first and foremost.
  12. I was about to say heat. In between attempts, keep drowning it penetrating oil while it sits.
  13. This dawned me after I had posted. I appreciated this place is all about the ££££ what with all censorship and whatnot, but my intentions were only to help out another forum member. Feel free to remove my post and any other posts where I mention what I do for a job.
  14. If you're willing to travel to Southampton, you'd be looked after. Feel free to drop us a PM.
  15. The problem with wrapping is its a profession any monkey can get into and do a semi-reasonable job, to the untrained eye. This is where you hear the horror stories. I've been in the trade for years and wrap brand new cars for Audi before they see the showroom. You would not know they're wrapped. My advice is just the same as when you're looking for a respray: check out the previous work done and if you can speak to any previous customers (maybe a message on FB), all the better.

    My new toy!

I can imagine its VERY different to the Supra. How are you finding it? Weather couldn't be better for it this weekend!
  17. With a 3.280 FDR its not very far away from the v161 at all. They can also handle a lot of abuse.
  18. Once my 420g gearbox is on, I will have change left over to buy 4 spares for the price of a shagged v160. It truly has gone bananas.
  19. Engine bay looks lovely. I cannot wait to declutter mine and go single! Hopefully the guys at Syvecs get the issue resolved in good time.
