The less government, the better, IMO. Get rid of the old cronies.
  2. Hi Mark, sorry just seen this. I'll be around next week if you wanted to come and view them, but you'll have to be quick as I don't think they'll be around long.
  3. Thanks Shawn. Yeah, it was always a case of just flirting with aftermarket wheels. If I had less cars, more money and more space I would keep these wheels and swap them on/off like as per my mood, but as I don't, they have to go.
  4. I'm going back to stock 17's so I'm letting my Ultralite LM's go. These wheels are ideal for someone who doesn't want to modify the body in any way. No arch modifications and they also clear UK brakes. 3 of the tyres have plenty of tread, the other is borderline. Generally they are in great condition as you can see in the pictures. No real curbing or damage. The only thing worth noting is there is a slight chip in one of them which I've highlighted with a picture. 8.5 Fronts / 9.5 Rears. Pick up from Southampton preferable. £650

    Hello from USA

Howdy and welcome! Let the dog see the rabbit then! English - American English translator: Posts some pictures up.
  6. Great to hear this is all got sorted by SRD and back with you now mate. What a saga. You must be over the moon.
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys. I wholeheartedly agree that the advert is key, Jay. When the time comes, it will do the car justice. Axl, I do fear that I will be opening and shutting the garage door from my bedroom window crying when I see the void in it's place...
  8. I have a Z I really want to build and the Supra is a luxury that I can't afford to keep if I go down this route. It's also sad that she's always sat in the garage. All of this being said, I will never let it go unless the money is right.
  9. This car has been nothing but spoilt in your hands Fosta! Top job.
  10. Thought I would bump this thread as I'm having another episode, although this time selling makes more sense as the car isn't getting used as much as I would like. I haven't been keeping up to speed on Supra prices of late so thought I would get an indication from you guys?
  11. You assume people are just speed freaks instead of commuters who travel at speeds they feel are safe.
  12. I think Paul @ Whifbitz had some discounted a while back. It's worth a PM.
  13. In complete stock form, my Supra was like travelling Virgin first class at 160mph. Then I made it loud, lowered it and ruined everything. Maybe it's better for my license that way...
  14. IIRC, 2002-2004 was around the peak of the prices before they started coming down. I bought my 5sp NA Supra in 2003 for £7500 and it was advertised for 9k. I remember MR2 Turbo's being around the same price. That being said, a 6sp single was still around 15k -19k. A friend of mine sold his RX7 in 2010 for 5k on eBay. He has spent 20k on it (including buying it) over the years and it still had track use warranty from Hayward. He was devastated to say the least.
  15. Thought I'd bump this... Have Supra prices risen again? I've been seeing some very strong prices in recent classifieds, in and around the Supra scene.
  16. You would have thought that was stock 0-60mph. Whatever the case, scrubbing 1 sec off is mighty impressive.
