  1. That beige interior against the monkey shit brown is not helping with my hangover.
  2. I've dropped him a PM to let him know. At first I think he thought they weren't pushed on all the way, but after trying again, there's definitely not enough meat to cover the ring. I'll see what he recommends.
  3. I took your advice and went for a set of @Noz's headlight rings, but I'm not sure on the fitment as the flanges don't appear deep enough. Do yours cover the entire ring? Yours appear to be bigger in your picture.
  4. Got a phone call saying they're waiting for a shipment at the end of the month and then it'll be in the post. Will let you know the quality/fitment.
  5. I guess it boils down to closed verses open breather systems. When venting to atmosphere some people believe you need to run larger hoses as you lose the sucking from the inlet. There's also the downside of moisture build up in the crankcase. A closed system works a bit more as per the manufacturer intended. The catch can catches the vapour, removes the oil and returns cleaner vapour back into the system while maintaining a closed system.
  6. Thanks bud. It might not be imperative, but it's important enough to me that, whilst I was doing the cam cover seals and deleting the EGR, it was a good opportunity to get it in there. When considering increasing the power over 100% from the factory output, I believe a catch can is important to alleviate any blow-by causing crankcase pressure. Crankcase pressure after all works against making power. Like I said before, I've always ran them on cars where I've increased the power by a sizable amount. It's a good habit, IMO.
  7. It's a bit like the weekly recycling bin day... you open the lid and wonder how on earth you can fit more stuff in there before putting it out. I like nice and simple.
  8. Just waiting on my cam covers to come back from the welders and it'll all be plummed up, but to show you where and how I'm mounting it, I've attached two pics below. A 70mm P-clip bolted onto my EGR blanking plate does the trick quite nicely. Not sure if J-spec cars have these holes in the back back of the plenum, but I'm sure it wouldn't take much to find something else to bolt onto. Hope this helps.
  9. Nice to see the Wangan Supra being well cared for. I used to love seeing that car at meets. Epic build for your lad. Stuff of dreams. He'll never forget it.
  10. Copy that. I ended up getting an MR2 one for a fiver as @rider's recommendation.
  11. I went for the one that @JordanCposted.
  12. Update... I haven't had a lot of time this year to get the last bits done, but a huge amount of progress has been made since the last post. S13 subframe, HSD monopro coilovers, R33 brakes are on and in. I went off the arch extensions so I've started making my own widebody overfender. These over fenders will be finished in carbon, but with a black fade. I've dynamatt'd throughout the car. It's not going to be a competition drag or drift car so a few extra KG for the sake of a pleasurable drive with music on is was a no-brainer. Once the quarter panels are done, I'll continue working on the front bumper. I'm currently in the process of making a one-off with FMIC cut out and front lip.
  13. Thanks Jordan. Looks a good option.
  14. I wouldn't say it's solid. I'd say that the fact that it's soft and moves with the wind would put a cat off jumping on it, but then you always have the rare nutty on as Mark experienced.
  15. Wow, I'm really surprised by that. I'm not even sure how a cat would even get on mine. Someone would need to throw it up there.
  16. Absolutely. No chance a cat would even attempt to jump on top once it's inflated.
  17. No probs bud. I'd prefer to buy direct for new money in case of any issues.
  18. Can anyone recommend a -10 aluminium boss that I can weld onto my cam covers? My local hypahose are struggling to get them as they're currently on back order.
  19. Just to confirm, the one you want to part with is also polyurethane? How much do you want for it?
  20. Ah, good stuff. We all have a budget. We present them to our Supra's and then they laugh and say ".. and the rest!". Yeah, Joel seems a hands-on busy dude and maybe neglects marketing parts outside of the T56 swaps. They're very reasonably priced turbo kits. I've already told him I'll more than likely be back in the new year for a one.
