  1. Not really. It was merely the only factual observation to be made.
  2. "Official figures" lol. One of the reasons we find ourselves two years deep into this mess is due to nonsensical figures like these that give no bearing as to how severe the virus or 'Variant of Concern' is. My bet is that all 18 had comorbidities/were on their death beds considering omicron is mild flu. It's no wonder Omicron is an anagram of moronic. They're literally mocking us.
  3. The complexities surrounding compliance and non-compliance, mainly in relation to masks.
  4. Dear oh dear... As expected - pure BS. https://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/health/coronavirus/response-issued-after-claim-that-first-omicron-death-in-uk-happened-in-northampton-3501629
  5. I'd say that's a fair expectation on price for a decent TT auto.
  6. Sorry to hear that. I completely understand you telling him where to stick it. I'd call it poor form, but we're living through times where people no longer have any rationale and are scared out of their wits. I'm also noticing this fear of flagging up positive which will scupper any Christmas/New Year plans.
  7. Ok, I apologise for the Sturgeon comment. She isn't a little Nazi witch. She's probably more of a little commie bandit. Stalin would have been proud. I doubt they'll be much to report regarding a New Year lockdown considering the human conditioning at play. It'll no doubt be a soft lockdown anyway with limits on how many households can mix, if one happens at all. I'm still undecided on the current gov PR scandal. Since Pepper Pig-Boris, there's been talk of Bojo going by the end of the year. He's showing fatigue so we could see him step down for fresh energy. Nothing like a 'leaked video' to let you off the hook, hey Mr Hancock. I'm leaning more towards all of this being a distraction to get the Crime Bill and new Internet legislation over the line which will prevent any kind of leaked information being made public again, as well as usher in totalitarian powers to crush any form of right to protest. Hey, it could have just been someone who's grown a conscience a year on leaking the video re the Christmas party.. but I doubt it as we'd have seen similar things happen in the past over illegal wars, etc.
  8. Come on mate, I think you're over playing the naive card a bit. Scotland and Ireland already have the commie passport and we're pretty much there ourselves... only a lil bit more to go. You state they had an opportunity to take control like you haven't already been rolled over the last two years and had your belly tickled, like a good boy. What was it? "Two weeks two weeks to flatten the curve." "We will vaccine the vulnerable, there's no need to vaccinate kids." "Vaccination will be a matter of choice." "There will never be a vaccine passport." The SME sector has been decimated while mega corporations and the rich have never seen profits so good. People sit and watch the news to see what basic liberties big daddy government will allow them like it's normal. People are being forced to have dodgy so-called vaccines that are currently on trial in order to go somewhere, despite them being, not only effin useless, but actually harmful to many (yellow card data), including my parents. Don't even get me started on the jabbing of kids along with psychologically fucking generations of them up with muzzles, social distancing and thinking it's normal to obey the government like we live in somekind of dictatorship. Each government's strategy is based on behavioural psychology to implement what comes down the chain from the WHO/UN/NGO's and it's working like a charm. With big tech and the corporate press feeding back public responses/surveys via Facebook reactions and comments they are opting for what they feel works best for England. I suspected from the start that Sweden didn't even have a lockdown as they're already a socialist (compatible with communist) country and did not require the cane. They were already open to bio passports and now they're looking to microchip people with their Covid pass. On the flip side of this you have Australia. No justication for their tyrannical actions in terms of case numbers, hospitalisations and deaths. The government and media were mocked when they tried project fear so they got the iron fist. As for England, I think they knew that approach wouldn't have worked. London would still be on fire now. We got project fear, but more importantly, we were invited into "doing our bit for the country" as that's what us English do. We muck together through hard times. The hero complex panders well to the ego. I think this is partially why those who still have their head in the sand try to mock others who have their eyes open. It's a similar psychology to statements lkme "little Englanders" when talking about Brexit. I did everything they asked for the first six months, but I realised I was being made a mug of as too many things didn't make sense. As for 90% of the rest of the country, they went along with it, but that number has been dwindling rapidly as we're at the stage now where I don't think the booster uptake has been all that great. The 4th and 5th jabs are going to be a hard sale. My guess is people will feel they literally have no choice once the Covid passport in place. The Scots and the Irish have embraced entities such as the EU and their agendas. Ireland is fully on board while, for the Scots, I believe some of it is out of habit of doing the opposite to what England want. Either way, they're on board and that little Nazi witch is pushing forward at a pace that correlates to the resistance/hesitance of the public. I doubt we'll see a lockdown until Jan as that's what was 'leaked' earlier this month. The focus is vaccine passports so the narrative will probably be "Vaccine passports are the only way out of this and to get us back to normal.".
  9. Looks a great buy for someone. GLWS.
  10. That doesn't surprise me. It just feels like they're rarer these days as I hardly see them on the road and am always being told the same by Joe Bloggs when I take mine out. I was talking to my brother today about investments as I am tempted to secure another car next year purely for investment purposes. I feel we're in a unique period of time where they're simply no longer building cars that can replace the 90's (and back) icon cars which is resulting in a ceilingless market. IMO, in the future these cars will have their place as being something completely separate to the modern, self automated, electric cars and will be seen as luxuries due to everyday green policies. The flip side is they could end up being worthless due to a cultural shift as the lockdown kids grow to focus on the environment. I picture a scene where a great grandson of mine pulls up in my old Supra to pick his girlfriend up and the parents look outside and the conversation goes something like: "Ohh, gawd. He's here again in that noisy smoke machine." "I hope she wears her mask when she's in that thing." "You know, you can even smell the pollution on his clothes.". I have faith though. When taking my buddies big single to my workshop to wrap it, I pulled onto the hard shoulder of the M3 as the panting carbon bonnet was giving me the shits so I stopped to double check it was shut properly. As I merged back, a little girl in the back of a Tesla was staring over in amazement as I was slowly climbing up through the gears. Her face and the little wave from her car seat was one of my favourite Supra moments. It told me that some things are timeless. In this case, the MKIV is.
  11. I also miss the cheap motoring days where supply is high against demand. It allows you dip in and out of different cars and enjoy them. High prices = high cost of maintenance and added worry about something happening to the car.
  12. Wow, they're really desperate to push mandated vaccines. Still no evidence that Covid actually killed this poor chap in his 70's: mass hysteria. Thousands of deaths and injuries from the jab: no one blinks an eyelid.
  13. Covid won't kill the vast majority of people, fullstop. In car terms, its like an annoying wiper blade that's had it. 99% of people will be fine driving with it, but those who are already heading off a cliff will crash and die "with it".
  14. We need a reaction. Absolutely gorgeous car my dude. Congrats.
  15. The unflushable turd that is Chris Oddball Witty doom-mongering with dodgy psuedoscience again? Must be serious. Oh wait. He's yet to get one prediction right, his dodgy graphs and stats are deliberately skewed, it's flu season and there's another shot on the table from his pal, Bill. If people can't see this reoccurring theme by now, we're screwed.
  16. Nice progress. There something sexy about a brand new gearbox.
  17. That's the plan. Well, eventually. I'm toying with the idea of running the Link ECU on my single set up, but with stock fuelling for next spring/summer and then at the end of the year, add 272 cams, fuel system, upgraded ignition system and remap. The simple reason is, my buddy will be selling me his low miles cams and injectors and I don't mind breaking this up into two stages.
  18. Awesome. Thanks for the nod of approval.
  19. Yes. The throttle response took a bit of getting used to, but with my clutch set up it will be fine. Why do you ask?
  20. Mere future proofing and I also prefer the sound.
  21. I think I paid around £100 for them, but can't find the payment for the life of me.
  22. I recall chatting to Lee and him mentioning the stock UK’s are side feed with resistor pack and much easier to change as you only need the front half of the fuel system. So rail, injectors, FPR and a some lines from the filter.. I'll have a peek at the radium rail with FPR.
  23. Wow, thanks Mike. That's a wealth of information there. A friend of mine who's car is going to SRD for a 1000bhp build at the end of next year and has agreed to flog me his 272 cams, FMIC and injectors so I may hang on for those as they've hardly seen any miles. In the meantime I think I'll start sourcing the rest of the parts. Thanks again for the info.
  24. Howdy, Just wondering if anyone can help add to the shopping list for my single build. I currently have the manifold and turbo. I'm going to be running a BorgWarner S300SX3 - 6673 "S366", .91 A/R, Twin Scroll. Original plans were to run stock UK-Spec ECU and fuelling for sub-500bhp limited boost, but I'm already eyeing up the Link G4X Plug 'n play ECU so maybe a little fuel system could be in order. I'm not sure where the UK camshafts run out of puff, but for the time being, I'd be happy with 600+bhp. So far the list looks as follows... 4" downpipe and recirc pipes Twin wastegates Oil feed and return line (PHR) Potential FMIC4" downpipe and recirc pipes Twin wastegates Oil feed and return line (PHR) Potential FMIC Link G4X ECU Injectors (size suited to cams) Fuel pump Fuel pressure regulator
