  1. I'd be interested in buying the boards.
  2. Forum diagnosises are a bit of a lottery so I'll add my 2p... Try unplugging and cleaning the connections on the crank and cam sensors. It's worth checking the resistances are within range while you're there. Also worth checking for a bad earth (remove and clean). With the age of these cars I've seen badly corroded battery trays and earth cables hanging off which had caused a variety of red herrings.
  3. Does it hot start on your ECU?
  4. If you still can't make boost on TTC mode, have done all the checks Mike has listed, the next steps I'd take is to check the turbo link pipe for internal collapse and the rest of the IC pipes for boost leaks. I remember on mine a while back I couldn't make over a bar of boost and it turned out to be failing welds on my OE SMIC. Boost leaks of that nature are normally indicative of running rich though. I've attached a pic of where the link pipe is located. If yours is stock, it'll be an orcadian style pipe. They're known to collapse internally so they look ok from the outside. Whifbitz sell replacements.
  5. Thanks matey, I'm pretty in love with this car again right now. I keep finding excuses to do stuff on it. Hopefully the manifold and turbo will be here in the not too far future so I can start wrenching the twins off.
  6. Fuel cut is pretty aggressive so I doubt it's that. Have you tried TTC mode?
  7. If the turbo blanket fits a T4, I'll take it mate.
  8. Clear side indicators on. I love simple little changes like these....
  9. Good spot. We're definitely getting to the point where CGI is indistinguishable from real life.
  10. Bit of a long shot, but has anyone got a spare nearside facelift light kicking around? I've discovered an annoying crack on mine so looking to replace it. Just the outer case/lense would work also.
  11. I went with Chingys Whifbitz 4". Whatever I buy will need modifying for my turbo placement, but this should get me 90% there hopefully.
  12. Sorry bud, just seen this. All sorted now.
  13. Yeah, it's pretty silent on idle, cruising and above 2500rpm. Like I said before, you can hear it chatter under load around 2000rpm, but it's completely gone by 2700ish. The ATF has made a big difference (louder), but I'm just happy for the time being knowing I can give it some now and it's running fluid that's accepted for warranty. If you can handle the noise, there's a ton of up sides to the conversion. I actually have some Dynamat left over from my 300zx build that I might chuck on the trans tunnel of the Supra for the sake of it.
  14. I do have this video for the time being. I recorded it immediately after the first start up. Baring in mind the phone is right next to the box, you can hear it's pretty quiet on idle. 20211009_200143.mp4
  15. Sorry mate, I've only nipped out in it here and there to test some changes. One thing I got round to doing yesterday was ditching the running-in oil for some ATF. As Tremec are currently out of stock of their HP-MTF, I opted for the factory issue Dextron III which is a lot thinner for warranty purposes. The only downside I've noticed is its louder now. I'll get a video up anyway. I'll prob do another once I've swapped the Tremec fluid in for comparison.
  16. Hey Mike, BTW, she's running like a dream with the new sparks, coils and clips. Quite a drastic improvement.
  17. As we're talking sub-4000rpm, I doubt the second turbo is contributing much boost, but it's been a while since I've paid attention to transition boost so I can't qualify if 1 bar under 4k is achievable on the 1st turbo (single mode) alone. I'd take Mike's (edit: and Tayr's) advice and let us know how you get on.
  18. Sounds like the second turbo isn't coming online. Maybe pop it in TTC mode and see if it continues.
  19. Lovely Supe you got there. Insurance for me: £380 (UK-Spec, bpu and transmission declared, 40 years old, no NCB added as on classic car policy). That's on a 5k mileage a year which is plenty for me.
  20. I like it. I like it a lot. Only change I'd make it going for halo rear lights instead.
  21. I wouldn't dismiss the power grab "theory", yet. I think our government are merely over a bit of a barrel and are looking for public support. The narrative is falling apart. Decorated, world respected Dr's have been given platforms to share information that completely contradict the sole misinformation stream that has been drilled into the masses via big pharma and government sponsorship, backed up with big tech censorship/fact; narrative checkers from the start of this. While those with their heads still in the stand still somehow have the ability to fob it off, we have fringe magnets like GB News and the verified YouTube Drs like John Campbell rounding up those who are falling astray as it's getting pretty obvious something is no longer adding up. Until the Covid Act is repealed and they remove ALL restrictions, this is merely "No muzzles for now everyone.". People are still facing the sack if they don't have Bills dodgy vax and numpty globalist shills like Sad Dick Khan are still going to enforce masks on the underground.
