One (dead) mans Supra collection is likely to push US$2mn at auction.

Just goes to show you cannot take them with you; it's best to use and enjoy them while you're here. The man definitely had good taste. -
I should hopefully find out tomorrow what the issue was as I'm sure it's something to do with the material. Buddy to the rescue is going to hopefully be the way forward. Thanks my dude.

Gotcha.

That's a good call. At a glance when clocking the turbo, I thought about welding on a 90, but will have a proper look when I come to hooking up the FMIC.

Playing pretend fabrication man today... Whifbitz 4" downpipe chopped up, cable tied in place and last pie cut measured and cut. If all goes well, the mid section should be snug up against the underside of the car as well. I'm kinda struggling to mig weld stainless, tbh. I'm using stainless 308 wire and an argon/co2 mix. I've experimented with different settings, but the symptoms I'm getting are indicative of a bad earth. I've cleaned the earth on the welder, ground back the material and used alcohol to final clean and still it welds like shit. As a result, I've tacked it in place and I'm going to take it to a buddies fab shop to politely ask him if he'll tig it up for me. Annoying, but I can't live with shit welds, even if they're hidden under heat wraps.

Absolutely, the ultimate MKIV side mount intercooler. -
Awesome to see another UK-Spec getting some love.

Just removed from the car and still looks like new thanks to low mileage and a Zun Sport grill. Comes with OE duct and mounts so it'll be a plug n play. £800 for the lot. Collection preferred from Dorset.

1. KamaSupra +1 2. Big Supes 3. 4. 5. 6. Can someone who doesn't feel like such a boomer these days take the stupid spaces out that I cannot get rid of, please?

Hopefully I'll be there in mine. I should be there either way, that roast pork belly was pretty epic last Sunday.

My insurer was a bit of a nightmare when it came to an agreed value. I got there in the end, but after sending pics, etc, I ended up telling them to ring at least 3 import companies to get a quote on how much it would be to replace my car, signed, delivered, MOT'd and in the same condition. After all, this is why we have insurance.

There's surely got to be a reputable bodyshop up there?! By helping I mean I'd cut any rust out and weld in fresh metal, but I'm on the South Coast.
-
You're not wrong buddy lol. Ideally I'd like to sell as job lot as the seats are in pretty decent condition considering their age. I'd be surprised if there are a better pair available for anyone wanting to restore a UK-Spec or GZ. Thanks buddy, will get pics up once they're out.

Fully working active spoiler. Has slight bit of damage as can see in the picture. Wasn't aware of this as it's hidden away. Easy repair, tbh. Comes with button. Collection preferred from Dorset. £800

Sweet, thanks for coming dude. I'll drop Lee a message. BTW, I saw your car in the flesh at SRD. Simply awesome.

Today's target complete. Deleted traction control and removed the manifold studs that had sheered off. Hung manifold and tubby in place. Clocked said tubby with a final adjustment on the inlet when it comes to the pipework from the FMIC. Side note, manifold with titanium studs kit are sexy AF. I like how far forward the turbo sits. It gives me more room to route the wastegates and adjust the downpipe. I'm aiming to recirc the wastegates, but if it's a ballache, I really don't mind the idea of a couple of screamer pipes. I think the next step will be to mount the mid and downpipe with a view to cut and make-fit.

Definitely a bit more raspy. I do like the HKS Ti, but I'm leaning towards a custom back pipe and a stainless Greddy box.
-
I'd help, but you're a tad far away for me. I'm sure you must have reputable body shops up there who can hook you up.
-
I think the question is, stainless or ti back box? I do like the sound of a titanium backbox, but part of me leans towards that deeper/classical noise from the stainless. Undecided on this one...
-
You got it mate. Sound has been a big factor in choosing some of the parts for this build.
-
Thanks dude, I'll give them a try.

Decent condition. Both heated, driver side is electric. Heater elements work, although the driver seats takes a bit longer to heat up than it used to. Black leather was an option for alpine silver UK cars. Comes with the sort after heated seat buttons. £1000 collected from Dorset. Pics added...
