Hi! Can someone recommend a clutch for the needed effect? Something as close to a stock feel as possible. Thanks

Looking for a new toy and why not another Supra. If possible i'd like a larger twin spec as I havent tried one, a stock TT would be interesting and possibly a single. No auto or W158 of interest. Is there anything going? Healthy budget for the right car but also open to cars with some work needed. thanks Current Supra.

Anyone built a cover for the single turbo? (To hide it)
Thomas.B replied to Thomas.B's topic in Supra Chat
Oh thanks I remember that! I saw one in Sweden with the similar looking one. Will contact SRD and see what they have as I was wanting the undertray they do too. Thanks! -
Hello! Has anyone built this? Have never had issues before but MOT won't let it pass if there only is one turbo. And if it's not visible they can't complain over it. Also the cops can see it and I'd have to register it again and that's basically impossible. Now I can get it mot'd anyway but the cop issue still is there. So I know some have built a cover and I'd like some info. Also how bad is this for the heat development? I have a turbo sleeve as is. Thanks!

Changes due to rpm and pressure from the intake. Little worried that the ECU burned from the alternator cable connecting to ground but everything seems to work besides the fans...

Hey! So I am having issues with the car and I can't find any faults. Story: The alternator (180a) gave up so I bought a 110a. When measuring the faulty alternator I saw that the cambelt was too far out so I got all new tensioners/belts and changed everything. Started the car up and it is getting waaay too much fuel and can barely drive and not at all give boost. Thought it might be sparkplugs so changed them too but no luck. Please see attached images, car went fine up until this. I forgot to disconnect the battery when removing the alternator and of course it connected to ground. I'm thinking if I blew some fuse or anything? All fuses under the bonnet are good. The electric rad fans don't start either and they share ground with the alternator, but all fuses are good. Anyone have any ideas for me? I'm going crazy! https://ibb.co/bgzWbcd https://ibb.co/k9nsZk7

Just wanted to answer what the problem was, The Crankshaft washer (13566-46010) was missing! So must have had this issue slowly for the longest time! Happy that I found it in time

Just a little quick-tip. Unscrew the gearbox cover underneith the car and just use a tool to keep that in place, pulley bolt comes off a charm

Hi! Im looking for the driver side plastic cover for the pillar pod. Must be able to post to Sweden Anyone?

Hiya! So my cambelt was on its way off the cams I will be replacing cambelt, tensioner etc. Do I have everything needed, do I need anything else or maybe change something else while im at it? Thanks! Cambelt (OEM) Cambelt "wheel" tensioner (koyo) + nut (13556-46010) Cambelt hydraulic tensioner (13540-46030) Crankshaft washer (13566-46010) Cambelt "bleck" (11324-46030) Will also change the alternator and the multibelt at the same time. The multi tensioner feels good and I have electric fans so its easy to change later. Pic of the items: https://imgur.com/a/06NcWBw

Thanks for the input! I'll take away the rest so everything is visable later. Please check in if I've missed anything needed. I'll post the list of parts I'm getting too. Thanks again, really appreciate it !

Hey! My alternator was faulty so when measuring it I noticed the cambelt had chewed it's was through the cambelt cover! Just removed the alternator tonight and will continue tomorrow. I'll post pics tomorrow when I've removed the last things but any ideas? Will oem cambelt and tensioners for 600whp be good or any others I should choose as I'll be replacing the lot either way. Thanks for any input even if it's not all off yet. https://ibb.co/2PnZBfS https://ibb.co/LQgFqd5

Yeah just thinking the supporting mods might need anything extra. It's not the worlds largest system in any way but have a display etc and will also change my gauges to a digital one. But I think a 100a should do the work and then some? Just don't want any issues later on
-
Hiya! So my alternator might be gone. I have a 180a now. Car is a 6speed 600whp with all supporting mods. I'm gonna measure the alternator this week and if its blown I want a new one asap. Found 100a (OEM) for a good price, but will this in any way not be enough for a single? Also have a decent stereo with woofer etc. Thanks!

Oh, haven't had the time to check any of this up yet. I have the old software as I have the V1 ecu, I'll do a search when the tablet arrives. Thanks!

Thanks again! I have only found that AEM sell their own monitor? Do you know where I could find the app? I was thinking of setting the AEM in autostart and autoconnect to ecu if possible then just have a template saved with what to show at startup? If there is an app so it can look a little better that would be great cheers!

Wez, thanks for the input! I have sourced a Asus T100TA , windows 32bit i think, is that a problem? I am using the serial to usb on my old laptop today and that works fine, shouldn't be an issue here either? EDIT: Just recalled 32bit is x86 so thats a none issue Sadly I don't write, i lift stuff haha The software developer at work should be able to fix it but I'd need to give him all info needed. Do you have more info here? But primary is just to get this going and working OK so I can get all fan vents back and OEM pillar cover as it is annoying me like hell right now
-
Hi! So im tired of all the gauges in the pillar and the lambda measure in the vent so I was thinking of mounting a windows tablet (guess they have windows 10) and then get the readings from AEM directly to the screen instead. Would'nt be an issue, or am I wrong? Thinking I must be able to choose what readings show on startup and then just have the program on autostart? I use sata - usb adapter today, this would also work I guess? Just making sure so I don't buy something stupid Thanks!
-
I was just thinking of fixing an Android pad and use that so would need to connect it somehow to micro USB or via adapter. I otherwise connect via USB and adapter to serial port when using computer. Thanks again for the help, appreciate it!
-
Thanks for the input! Ideally I'd like to fit a 8-10" screen as I do with my computer when mapping etc but only for it to show the readings above and maye the lambda too.
-
Hi! I have defi gauges in the a-pillar and they annoy the living hell out of me. So I would like to be able to get all readings i have (oil pressure, oil temp, exhaust temp) on the a-pillar onto a screen instead. Are there any plug and play available for this model or what options do I have? Thanks!

Thanks! Water pump is changed a few years back but I could ofcourse change again, only done at the most 1000miles since the build 5 years ago. Just want everything to be tiptop
