  1. Perfect, thx alot for the replys, think ill start by changing the filter and fluid, and c if it mkaes for any changes!
  2. Thanks, ill do so, i did however change the fluid around 8.000 miles back! What about the transmissionfilter, how often should it be replaced!?
  3. Hey, i have a Supra n/a with aut. transmission. lately ive noticed a delay, when shifting from reverse do drive, its most recognizable when the engine and transmission is cold. Im aware, that it could just be a fluid issue, due to the fact that the fluid is still cold, as described - What worries me ofcourse, is the fact, that it seems to be something that has started recently!?? Could it be caused by either slipping bands or clutches within the transmission? Do i need to worry, and is there something i can do!? Thx alot, regards Mikkel
  4. Hey, i hope that all of you fellow supra owners are enjoying the summer. Im currently on the look out for some lowering springs to my 93 Jap spec n/a, ive looked at Tein, H&R, GMax, Cobra, Eibach and so on - And what ive noticed as that there are lowering spring for the Turbo model, aswell as the n/a, not surprisingly. The difference between the lowerings springs for the Turbo and the n/a, seems to be length the car is lowered, many of the TT lowerings kits loweres equally front and rear(3,5 - 4 cm), and the n/a springs loweres 3 - 4cm front and about 2 - 2,5cm rear - Again, nothing to be mistaken about. My question is, however, if there are any other differences when wanting to fit springs made for a TT, to an n/a model? - The reason for me asking, is that there are about 5cm of free space above my back wheels as it is right now(19" tires and brand new wheels!) - Therefore im wondering wheater or not the 2,5cm lowering from the n/a lowerings springs will be sufficient or if im to go for the 4cm TT lowering springs? Thx in advance!
  5. I have a full set of stock coilovers and springs, from a TT Jap spec - Nothing wrong with them - If it could be of interest to you, just PM me.
  6. Narh....was ofcourse looking for a replacement to my former congregation, they burned down our church, as they thought apocalypse was near - It wasnt and i was late as always...so, long story short, these guys looked liked someone who could take ever where the others left of. And who knows, with a little luck, maybe they will throw a barbeque aswell, in a couple of years...
  7. Please do - Tell them that you are considering paiting it "Skittles red", in your attempt to keep, atleast the blacks away..lol:d Maybe theyre racist side more dominating than there homofobia....
  8. When ever you think the world cant surprise you anymore, well, then it does! How do they ever come to those conclusions.... No wonder the world is full of ignorant morans, these people breed them:( read and weep: http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=18794&page=3
  9. Btw, do you recall when the large brake setup became standard on the jspec TT? Because i know that this model i one of the last ones to be made, BEFORE the facelift model came. I think its a 1996 model.
  10. Arh, perfect. so im hoping for the small setup, as they will bolt right on - and i take it its a bigger issue to fit them, if its the larger version?
  11. Just to clarify - Its not a problem to find a tread about brake upgrade, but those i found where about the UK spec, and to my knowledge, they are not the same.
  12. Hey all, ive been searching the site for an answer but I cant seem the find any. Ive been offered som almost brand new jspec TT brakes for my n/a jspec. Its for all 4 wheels, pads, dics, calipers and so on, just around 150 GBP for it all. Ive agreed with the seller that im to drive up and pick`em up tomorrow. But when i came home today and sat down i began doubthing wheater or not they would bolt right on or if will be a bigger conversion!?? So long story short - Will they fit:search:(the alloys wont be a problem, more than enough space)..!? Thanks!
  13. Dr. Boom yea posted that some time back, i apologise if its a problem. I have, as stated above, already tjecked, and the problem was not caused be any faulthy wirering or due the anything not being plugged in.
  14. Hey fellow Supra owners! I really dont know where to look or what to do! After i had my car back from the garage(Had the heater matrix changed!), the central locking hasnt been working. Ive tjecked that everything is plugged and that the fuse is intact. My central locking is not remote controlled, its just the old kind where you have to insert the key to the keylock and then it open both doors, just to say that it isnt a problem with any remote controll. Im really, really hoping that someone could come up with a few ideas as to where i could look for the cause of this problem. Thx in advance! Regards Mikkel
  15. So, so sad, i know ecxatly how u feel.....Sadly its the price one has to pay in the end, for all the, hopefully, happy years you spent together. R.I.P Spike
  16. Arh ofcourse, makes sense :0).....So are there any other "belts" that i need to be aware of, know that om going to makes the changes anyway?? :0) Thx for the quick reply "Swampy"
  17. Evening everyone:) I Have a question, that i hope someone could answer. Ive just gone through the various enginepart on my supe, to see if anything needs changing - And along with new sparkplugs, sealings along the exhauspipe, new filter and other smaller parts, im also going to change the timing belt and the v-belt, along with the tensioner bearing and the water pump. My question is, is the Auxiliary Belt just another name for the V-belt? And will i need anything else(have i forgotten something?), when also changing the tensioner bearing? Well, then it was actually more like 2 questions - hope its alright;) Thx in advance!
  18. Well, the best way would be to put in a "jack Dempsey", he will sort things out - And you will never have to worry about any of your "golddies" ever again.... This is the buggar im talking about: http://www.google.dk/images?hl=da&q=jack+dempsey+cichlide&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=eX_ZS7bCA4yjOOHi0bwP&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=5&ved=0CDUQsAQwBA Btw, the notorious name has not been given for laughs, its a mad bastard, just like the boxer they got there name from....Had a pair ones, in a big and very well decorated fishtank, well until they decided to redecorated it and broke the fishtankheater. :0)
  19. Looks very nice, gz m8
