  1. Hi, ive got this Gauge mount for sale, made from real Carbon, no fake plastics; bought it just before i sold my Mkiv. Other than to see if it fit probarly(which it does ), it has never been in use, and it is spotless! Made in the UK, by Streamline Carbon. I paid 155GBP in all Price, best offer around 50% of cost from new seems fair(shipping included), as it basicly like new:)! Shipping from Denmark is aprox. 10GBP. 2. Well im as sure as i can be, without being 100% sure, ive disconnected it all and plugged in it several times over the past couple of days, while ive been looking for whatever is causing these problems! Ive looked for bent or damaged pins in the multiple connectors, but they all seem to be an perfect working order!
  3. Hi, just recently i took the supra interior apart, to have all the surfaces painted. After i installed it all again, i now experience an anoying issue. The speedo/rev. Counter/fuel and engine heat gauge doesnt light up when i switch on the driving lights. What does happen however, is that the odometer turn off, when i turn the driving light/headlamps on - very strange and annoying. The rest off the dash clusters works fine, a/c, radio and so on. Ive tjecked the dimmer switch, tried turning it all the way up, fitted another one and tried bypassing it, but to no good. Ive searched the forum and googled for help, i found other forums, with ppl. Who had facdd similar problems, but no answer to the issue was given. Ive tjecked for lose wires, connector etc. Ive even replaced the odometer and dimmer switch, but as ive written above, the problem is still there. No light in speedo cluster when headlamps are turned on(no light in it, when they are off, just to clarify) and odometer turns off when headlamps turn on and when the speedo cluster was supposed to light up. i really feel ive done what i could do and im really hoping for some help. Thanks alot guys!! Regards Mikkel
  4. What about if i bought a new wideban sensor, made a new thread in the exhaust manifold where it could be located and then connected my AFR gauge directly to that signal cord from the new wideban sensor? Ofcourse keeping the 2 OEM Oxygen sensors! Would that work?
  5. Hi Ricky, i couldnt agree more - This one is the fifth and last gauge and its only there to fill out the last open spot in the A-pillar mounting(3 in the upper glove box area and 2 in the a-pillar) The general idea is, that its not to much use, but it looks alot better than an open slot!
  6. Hi - im currently in the process of instaling some gauges in my Jap spec. Supra n/a. All is going well, there is however one small problem that im not able to figure out myself. one of the gauges is a Oxygen/lamda sensor gauge, which measures the air/fuel ratio, if im not mistaken. It has 4 cables/cords running from it: Red(ignition live), Yellow(Battery), Black(Earth/-) and a green signal cable, its the last one that im not sure about. Ive posted a small installation guide, similar to the one that came with the gauge. The problem is that i need to find the correct PIN on the ECU! Or should i just cut the wire from one of the Oxygen sensors and solder the Green wire in between? What puzzles me is the guidelines regarding green signal cable: "This cable/cord must not connect/touch a positive connection. The Oxygen sensor only has one wire running to/from it. So where should i connect the green signal cable? ECU? Oxygen sensor cord? Thx in advance! Mikkel
  7. Thx Thomas, my Deutsch isnt what it used to be I think Ill have a hard time convincing a traffic policeman that this proofs the spacers on my car are Road legal, more to the Point, the problem is it doesnt say "tüv" anywhere in the text!?
  8. Hey guys, ive lost the tüv approval papirs on my spacers, the traffic police here in Ðenmark loves to hand you a 150Gbp fine and ask for a renewed MOT, if your driving around without the Papirs, or even worse, spacers that arent Road legal. So of anyone had some Tüv papirs on a pair of spacers, i Would love a copy. Just a scan and via email, anything Will do! Thx alot Mikkel P.s. The papirs i used to have, had notning but the model, make and width of the spacers written upon it. But as the make and model isnt engraved or otherwise shown on the spacers themself, any Tüv approval could dó, id just have to weasel out of the width question Thx again!
  9. Hello! When i bought my supra, the power steering wasnt working, well it might work for like 10-20 sek just after starting the engine, but then the steering would get hard. I got hold of a another power steering pump, a new pressure valve(the one with the two tabs that connects the pressure hoses to the inlet manifold), new hoses and the correct oil and i changed it all, bleeding the system along the way. When the new pump, hoses, pressure valve and oil was changed, i started up the engine, and i noticed right away that the power steering was working, and it still works everytime i start up the car, but only for like a few minuts, then it becomes very hard to turn and the power steering wont return until next time i start up the car. I havent noticed if the engine needs to get cold before it works again, or if its just a matter of restarting the engine. Its really strange, ive done everything by the book, oil level is correct, and as said, the power steering works perfectly, but only for a limited amount of time(im aware that the power steering should get less responsive as the car accelerates, but the power steering disappears completely, so its not just a matter of me misinterpreting! I really hope someone inhere has a clue, as to what might be the problem! Ive searched the site and google for help, but in vain. Thx in advance!
  10. Thought of that, but need the fonts for the "TRD" part!
  11. Hey, a mate of mine recently bought a TRD 3000GT decal, its about 10X80cm. He bought it from a guy who had one, he couldnt however remember where he got it from - So my question is, do any of u guys know where to find one, need it in white! Been searcing ebay, mvp and such, but to no prevail! Thx in advance!
  12. Ive checked the calipers, they are in perfect working order - But other than that, im not sure its the o2 sensors either, reason is, that ive done the trick with a voltmeter, plus pin to OX1 on diagnostics port, and minus pin på minus on battery, did this with the "old sensors" sensors mounted, and with a pair of used ones i had from another engine - But in both cases i got no fluctúation on the voltmeter, that i should otherwise get? But ive ordered the o2 sensors anyhow, the price of 2 from rock auto was reasonable and it cant hurt to change em, its OE part, the genuine Denso that Toyota use. But ive come to think if it could have something to do with the mapsensor, ECU or some other part of the electrical system controlling Air/fuel ratio!? Im worried that i got no response from the voltmeter test, using 2 different pair of sensors!
  13. Thx Stevie, after looking at the diagram, it seems that it focusing on mpg speedos, mine is a kmph, as im danish, does this have any influence?
  14. Great response, thx alot! Seems that Rock auto has the ones i need. just gotta be sure to get 2 that match the sockets, as the small clips are set at different side one left, other right, so they look identicall at first, but arent, "Idiot proof plug and play" :0) Well, atleast i think that what was i found out today, when cleaning and reinstalling the 2 O2 sensors - Do u guys know if its like that on your jap specs!? Thx again!
  15. This i s hilarious, i finally got the org. part number 8946519615, called sparkplugs, they couldnt find an aftermarket or OEM like match, other retailers couldnt either, Ofc. Toyota can, but at a very high cost. All they can find is the O2 sensors with 4 wires, mine only has 1 cord,(with 2 wires in it) - Can it realy be, that there arent any aftermarket to get, for this model - And do all of u with Jap spec. mkiv`s buy at Toyota!?
