If anyone is arround - I'll be on for a very brief one about - 6.30pm, then off for the weekend! Also been using the X31's for a while. The sound quality is fantastic but unless, I'm doing something wrong....I can't hear the footsteps! D

I did notice a few people playing left for dead 2. But agree, even if COD fades (perish the thought), lets make sure there are a few games we can play and stay in contact.

I do like the AK, and it looks really good when you've got an RPG stapped to ur back and a rag on your head. Makes you feel proper talibany. I think it would be good if we could show the other guys what we get up to! I mean in all fairness, I think we've got something going here. Good strong thread. Looks like we're inadvertantly building a couple of teams of casual players (Dom + Hardcore), but I wouldn't invest unless ur planning to use it for other things too. I mean, this is a great game, but people get bored, new games come along (Black Ops, Battlefield - which i think will probably suck) in six months we'll probably be thinking back to the good ole days! Anyway, that's me getting all nostalgic - I think the capture card would be awesome, I think those videos you've provided are awesome, Septic. Btw, if I am on tonight, it will be quite late. I finally worked out the whole tubing marlarky on Wasteland thanks to your descriptive tactics thingie. I didn't know you literally had to aim thru two wires, at A. I got a hit last night, not a kill, but at least it's near on target. So will be honing that. But It would be interesting to see where the other guy sat (on their team) to get four of you guys in one go! Oh and I think some Mike Myers would be brilliant for laughs and get people in the spirit. I'll see if I can did up some Benny Hill theme music to play thru the mike.

The bickering got a tad bit silly. I could actually see guys buggering off thru out. A few of us had one more game on highrise and beat a bunch of yanks before calling it a night. I should be on tonight for a bit, would be up for a bit of hardcore, hate killcams and bullet soaking arses! I need to stop tubing - doesn't help towards unlocking skins, etc, although saying that I got a head shot against Dean with a grenade. Awesome.

I've been trialling a sort of rifle / g18 spec. I find the G18 akimbos (and extended mags?) are about as good as any akimbo sub mach. Then I have rifle like the Tar, M16, famas with grenade launcher for my distance shooting - still not sure which I prefer. But it means you can run and gun but also means you can have the rifle ready if the other guy has the distance on you. Does anyone make good use for the FAL?

I would say my current workplace is probably the best place I've ever worked. I work in research, so there are moments where we need a few hours to concentrate and focus on data quality but at the same time I can listen to music while checking said data (Disturbed FTW!). We all go out at least once a month, either for someones birthday, retirement or just any ole excuse. We also go to the pub as a pack, usually every other Friday. Next to me right now, I have a putter, a rugby ball and a football. The balls fly across the room and as for the putter, we tend to randomly do twisted mini golf challenges, i.e. who can get it in the whole from....across the building. No winners yet. The last place was awful. A tiny backwater research agency who's researchers thought they were the dogs danglies because they had every ESOMAR / MRS award concieveable. The people would happily stab you in the back for a bourbon biscuit and regularly suffered from 'factionalism.'

I like the close-quarter nature of trailer park. In my first game I just sat in that trailer facing the central flag and blatted anyone that came past. Got about 7-8 kills in one go. I tried that one where it's an abandoned warehouse / research centre (Vacant?) - I'm still deciding whether I like that one - I find it way too easy to get flanked on that one! I have to admit I do like carnival - I think it was half the reason I went for that map pack in the end - I spent too much time getting shot the first time round as I was just wandering arround admiring it! Don't like Fuel and I've not a big fan of the other one (name escapes me!).

Finally managed to download one of the map packs - specifically, I got the one with the carnival and trailer park. They are ok, but I don't think they they are worth the 1200 or so points. The original maps are better than the new maps. Maybe I'm just saying that because I've grown used to the original ones and know my killzones, weapons loadouts, etc.

Some Yank Clan was like 'Ohh we're going to beat you - I am your daddy.' We beat them 4-1 and they were like 'But we got more kills!' and we were like 'dude, if it was about the kills, we'd be playing deathmatch not domination - retard.' And if all else fails - regular references to the benefits/positive aspects of 9/11 shut them up. Let me just stress that 9/11 was a tragic waste of life, but these guys were a*seholes and sore losers and just needed a proverbial kick in the balls, right where it hurts.

Sorry Sam, didn't reply to your message last night - I'd left the xbox on to download the resurgance pack (FTW!). We need to Sam on for a few games once Nevin's has taken a rest. I'd also like to thank the other survivors of Kazama's murderous rampage across Rundown who crossed the breadth of the map...to give me a cuddle. You'd need a cuddle too if You'd seen Stillen get stabbed in front of you and fall in a heap on top of you.

I think it would be cool, but I don't think I would be comfortable handling the bottle, let alone paying £500 for it. ...could we keep the bottle after consumption?

I have seen that very recently, and sorry - going to sound like a noob here, but what the heck does 10th Prestige mean - does that mean you've prestiged 10 times???? Regularly get random voice / text messages inviting me to attain 10th Prestige.
