  1. I think he was let off too lightly. He earns approx £130,000 a week for gods sake and only got a 20 month ban. He crashed into other cars, he was lucky he didn't kill someone. You know exactly what you are doing when you drink and drive, ban for life, attempted manslaughter.

    SRD Dyno Room

We need a video of the F1 car!!!
  3. I've known this car for many years and am shocked that it has not been sold! It's never wanted for anything. One of the nicest cars out there.
  4. Married 25 happy years today! And still going. I can't believe how fast it has gone by, and how many great memories we have together. We have made lots of great and close friends thanks to this club and long may it continue! Thanks mkiv. How long have you been married or together? Ian and Sharon (Dragonlady)
  5. Got mine from specialised car covers, not cheap but a good fit. It has proper pockets for the mirrors and fits the car lines snugly. Saying all that, I am going to build a garage hopefully this year and get an internal dust cover for the car. Ian
  6. Just read this post and OMG, a lot of what has been said is true, but, you said you bought a top quality car cover......who ever sold that to you could sell sand to an Arab. £65 delivered is dirt cheap and as for fitting, I've seen less wrinkles in Nora Battys stockings! I've been using a car cover for the last 5 years. The car is stored under a car port, but it has three solid sides, so a garage without a door. I only use the car about once a month, but before I put the cover on I always wash the car, dry her off, dust with a California dusted and a last quick detail. My cover is made specific for my car ( tailor made ) and cost a lot more than £65.
  7. Am starting to lean towards the new Continental Sport Contact 6, they seem to be getting good reviews all over and not that much difference in price to the Mitchelins.
  8. Needing some new rubber on all four wheels, have always preferred Mitchelin PSS but am also considering Goodyear F1's and Continental Sport Contact. Any input appreciated. Cheers Ian
  9. BMW 135i, 3 or 5 door, 3ltr straight six turbo, what's not to like.
  10. Personally I hate the stanced look. It looks like some fat bint has jumped on your car and broken the suspension!,.........but if that's your thing...... Ian

    DCT gearbox input

The wife has the DCT in her 35is Z4, great gear box and good for 700nm of torque. So far have heard of no problems with the boxes on the forum( Z4 ), but as with all these boxes, if they go wrong..........££££££££ Ian

    OMG - Want

    You've got a double garage.............have both!
  13. Holy SH1T!!! When did you sell the Supra and buy a Massey Fergusen?
  14. I'd crank it over by hand first to get the oil circulated. Everything will be bone dry, metal on metal is never good, besides, you'll know if it's not seized.
  15. On your own from the NW, that's not good, poor show! M62, A1 all the way to Newark, show ground is 3 mins from A1.

  17. Lamborghini all day! If you want a smooth drive buy a Bentley or roller. This is a super car, it's meant to bite! And the exhaust note is epic!!! Ian
  18. We went to a secret super car meet last weekend on an airfield, 160 cars turned up for charity. The star of the show was a car the owner had just picked up that morning and it is the only road legal car of this model in the world.....any guesses? All most people could say was wow, oh my god! Ian
  19. Have the system vacuum tested to see if there's a leak.
  20. Are you getting rid of the old grass or burying it? If the latter, compact it well or as it rots down your new lawn will sink, compact it in layers.
