To be honest ricky, i was going to make a clear cam cover and just put the belt on, however concluding this thread i am just going to stick with OEM or gates for that matter, thanks

Like m_life said, standard unleaded is fine. Though I have always ran my cars and bikes on high octane, doesnt do any harm

Il get the standard gates belt or OEM, was just woundering if i did use the uprated belt would it be too hard for my standard pulleys?

I havent done anything to the valvetrain, simply thought that if i am going to change my timing belt might as well use the best, not to say the OEM are of no use. I think i will just stick with the OEM belts then..

The OEM are brillant quailty but im just wanting to know if the racing belt would be safe to use on standard pulleys?

I was thinking alone those lines myself, it's not too much more expensive and thought if Im doing it now, I might as well?

I have heard that the performance belts (HKS in mind) can damage the pulleys, just wasnt too sure about this one.? Plus it looks cool lol

Good luck to ya "slutdog" thats going to need alot of wrap.... Just received my manifold today of "naspsupra" so thanks to him, just need to get the wrap and start wrapping!

Good thread, im looking to buy heat wrap this week as well for my NA manifold. How much do you reckon i would need just for the manifold.?
