  1. So will all my threads be deleted then?
  2. I did, Steve. I PM'd Red five hours ago and he ignored me. I asked him again on the boards and he just took the p!ss. Charlotte is a mod I believe and she also took the p!ss.
  3. That's not the case. My discussion WASN'T allowed. It has been removed!
  4. Hi gang, Can anyone tell me what discussion topics are allowed please? Would save me a lot of time writing about unsuitable subjects only to be arbitrarily deleted by admins. Any help gratefully appreciated, Cheers, KaiBosh
  5. I don't generally tend to plan my discussions, I was sort of hoping it would go like every other discussion I've had in my life, where you bounce off each other and see where it goes. So are you guys serious? You're removing a discussion that doesn't break any forum rules just because you personally disagree with the opinion of the author?
  6. That's really funny. But seriously? Is it coming back or what?
  7. Evening Red. Any news on the 'lucky escape' thread? Do you know how long these things usually take? I have an awful lot more to say on the subject.
  8. What did you do about it in the end, mate? I'm driving around with it loose at the moment (the baby only gets in it once a fortnight or so) but they do say it needs to be properly tight. I don't want to have to choose between my baby and, well, my other baby.
  9. Hello Dazla, Sorry to trouble you but I'm after some advice if you don't mind... I saw your post a while ago about getting a baby seat for the Supra and was well chuffed that you found the Britax Freeway, especially as it's so cheap. You say you got yours to fit nicely without moving about. How did you do that? I bought a Freeway and fitted it behind the passenger seat but the socket (the bit you plug the buckle into) seems too far forward, as does the anchor by the car wall. Basically the baby seat moves forward about eight inches when you pull it, even if you're just tightening the shoulder straps. I've knelt on the thing and pulled the strap through as hard as I can but the problem seems to be that the anchor points for the lap part of the Supra's seatbelt on both sides are too far forward. How do you secure it? I'd really appreciate any pointers. Cheers KaiBosh
  10. Thanks for the link Jimbo. Nice pics too. I was pleasantly surprised so see my striped Soop in the background of one of those shots (white 350Z (I think) in the foreground). I'm really looking forward to the next meet now. Must remember to bring a camera...
  11. "i was parked right near where the lambo and farrari came in and stopped." Was one a Lambo? They all look the same to me, these status symbols. Fancy taking them to a Jap meet! Probably overcompensating for something... but yeah, your Soop's very smart too, made me want a respray. "who is the guy with the GT white stripes and neon lights on his supra doing donuts?" Erm, OK I *MAY* have got a little over-enthusiastic. But in my defense it was my first meet and I hadn't seen any Soops in months. It was a very special time for me.
  12. Well that was cool. And by cool I mean f'in FREEZIN. I'm still shivering now. Note to self: take a bigger coat next time. I saw your FFX, Missile, but you weren't about. Very smart. You were parked bonnet in so I was spared the trauma of seeing your wounded splitter. There was a similar silver Soop with the forum sticker in the back but no-one nearby either. The Soops were way outnumbered by other models; it made me very proud Couple of Italian monstrosities - a red Ferrari and a yellow one. Nowhere near as nice as the Jap beasts. See you at the next one!
  13. My neighbour's got a modded Scooby. I'm debating whether to invite him or not but in my Supra circle, Impreza's a swearword.
  14. I'll be the fat bloke struggling to get out of the black Soop with white GT stripes. Come say hello. I don't even know my registration number - is that bad?
  15. Sounds bloody great. Doubt I'll make the convoy (I'll be goin anti-clockwise) but will see you there. 1) Essexgt4 2) Missile 3) Fruity_south 4) KaiBosh

  17. I'd love to come up in my Soop and see some others. What time?
  18. I just started another thread about a possible meet this Sunday (7th Dec 08). When are you thinking of, mate?
  19. Hi gang, I fancy popping my meet cherry and have this Sunday free. Anyone up for it? Nothing too early, just a nice relaxed get-together somewhere near some nice sweepy roads. Would be good to see some other Soops, it's all SUVs round my way. Open to suggestion on location but how about Box Hill (A24, Dorking, Surrey)?

  21. Lateral thinking - that's what I like to see, Gatso.
  22. Morning gang, I've driven two hours to Santapod to get my new Supra on the strip and I left my bloody license at home. Yes I'm an idiot. OK so has anyone got on the strip without one? They're quite strict about it even though it's not a legal requirement. Any ideas? Cheers KaiBosh
  23. Thanks for your replies, folks. Wow - Homer himself. Thanks for the response - I'm in Richmond. There's a Jap specialist up the road at Barnes Bridge but if you know of someone good (and cheap) then let me know. It's good to think it might NOT cost an arm and a leg! KaiBosh
