    Cocaine

Great tune. Bypass Nazi firewalls here: http://www.beatfiltering.com/ Works for me in the office. K
  2. I'm after some eye-catching but dignified rims for my Supe. It's black with an abflug bonnet and carbon wing. Any suggestions?
  3. Brilliant. I'll try and get up there in the morning. Cheers Jezz. K
  4. Cheers for that Guigsy. By coincidence, I'm visiting a pal near QSD on Saturday. You open Saturday Jezz? And could I convince you to swap it over for me? I'm literally useless. Last time I filled my tyres the car caught fire. I shall bring the fan in the boot
  5. Evenin all. Anyone breaking Supras within an hour's drive from Richmond in West London TW9 who will be around Friday afternoon/evening? I'm in desperate need of a viscous coupling for the cooling fan. Mine's a 93 Jap Manual NA. Cheers, K
  6. Took mine to Kwik-Fit the other day. There are apparently two valves and while the top one on my Jap import is the same size as the UK spec, the bottom valve is smaller and K-F don't have the right nozzle. If matey has different sized nozzles, he can do mine for the £40 if he likes!
  7. Hahaha check it out: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNDATED-20P-COIN_W0QQitemZ320391847629QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Coins_BritishDecimal_RL?hash=item4a98d79ecd&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A13|66%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50 £52 paid for a normal 20p piece worth... ...erm, i dunno, about 20p maybe?
  8. There are loads of scammers on Ebay selling normal 20p pieces - and literally dozens of people paying more than £50 for them. Definitely more money than sense. Listings like this: "THIS COIN IS UNDATED on the queen side AND THIS UNDATED on the queen side COIN IS VERY RARE DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A VERY RARE UNDATED on the queen side 20P COIN WHAT IS COMPLETELY UNDATED on the queen side" ALL the old ones are undated on the Queen side FFS There are a couple that finished on thousands but I'm sure they're hoax bids - why would anyone pay grands when they regularly finish for £150?
  9. I might get a 106 in part-ex? Awesome! I'm off to Pistonheads!
  10. Gaz, If it has no date on either side then I'll happily give you £50 for it! PM with Paypal address if interested. Cheers K
  11. Hi chaps, Unfortunately I need to flog my pride and joy to buy tools of my trade. I'll get another one when I'm back on my feet. But: I'm looking at completed listings on Ebay and shocked at how little they seem to be fetching... around £2K - £2.5K for a 93 N/A like mine. Anyone have any ideas about how or where to sell Supes? I'm not doing Autotrader again - just got bombed with spam the last time I sold a car with them. Any ideas? I know it won't fetch the £4K it owes me but I was hoping for £3K - £3.5K. Am I just being overoptimistic? Cheers, K
  12. I'll give you £200 for them. PM with Paypal address if interested. Cheers K
  13. Yep, looks like seized coupling as the fan is being driven cold. £50 for a used one, could be a LOT worse Thanks for your help Scooter. Appreciate that, mate K
  14. Just went to look. Not freely, no. It will move if you push it quite hard but certainly won't spin. Have you seen this before then, Scooter?
  15. Hi gang, Any ideas about this? I only drive a couple of hours on the weekend, and last week toward the end of my run, the fan came on really loud, drowning out the HKS 5" exhaust. I assumed it had just got hot. Today it made the noise from the off. After driving for a bit there was a second noise a bit like a belt slipping. The fan noise only occurs while revving and disappears completely when I press the clutch. Any advice very gratefully received. Cheers, Kaibosh
  16. I'm in Ealing some evenings; black Soop with white viper stripes - look silver under streetlights - with a carbon wing and 18" OZ rims. Possible? Edit: some afternoons but mostly evenings.
  17. You were waiting to turn right, I went behind you on my way to the M3 in my black Supra with white GT stripes. Looks like we have the same wing... Kaibosh
  18. It's a procedure called HDR or high dynamic range photography. It takes bloody ages. You bracket a scene - take a load of pics with varying shutter speeds - and combine them in Photoshop. The camera has to stay perfectly still so use a tripod and remote. Use low ISO and aperture and snap a series of shots at, say, -4EV, -2EV, EV, +2EV, +4EV. You can let Photoshop do it automatically, under File > Automate > Merge HDR, that saves A LOT of time. Photomatix does it automatically but the results are cartoony and it's not customisable.
  19. Ah. My work's firewall won't do Imageshack. Thankyou both for your help - maybe the photographer will spot this thread and fill me in!
  20. Hehe sorry to be a pain. Jim, I can't see the photos in the thread you posted. The pics I'm thinking of were outdoors, possibly on a brick floor, parked in front of shutters with big wide horizontal bars. Looked like a newly-built warehouse or business park of some kind.
  21. Thanks for these Tom, bloody nice photos you got there! I like the one with the two rows of Supra back ends disappearing off into the distance. Great shot. I also like the tilt shift stuff. But it wasn't a Photoshop filter, definitely a bit of kit. I suppose the effect is similar to polarisation but not quite... I seem to recall the backdrop being rolled-down shutters or similar.
  22. Sorry Tom, sounds ridiculous I know but I can't even remember that. I have the memory of a goldfish. The filter had a three-word name I think, the general effect was one of despeckling the image or removing noise to leave smooth, flawless bodywork. It made the photos look a bit like they could be CGI. They're awesome photos - and it was an awesome Supe - there were a few pages of comments I think. Curse my memory! I just really want to buy that filter and now i can afford it I don't know what it's called...
  23. I was really impressed recently looking at someone's Supe pics on here - they looked like a Lambourghini catalogue or something. I wanted to know how it was done and was going to ask but others beat me to it. The answer was a type of filter added to the camera lens. I can't remember the name of the filter. i can't remember the name of the poster. I can't even remember any details about the car itself - I was just amazed at the photography! Anyone recognise this? Can you point me in the right direction? Cheers KaiBosh
  24. Weird! I thought the same thing. I go through Brooklands in Surrey quite a lot and I've seen the white Supra. And it's near Walton-on-Thames so there's bound to be a Walton Road there somewhere...

    Cheers!

It is a beautiful thing you have done here, friend. Welcome to the group KaiBosh
