Hey guys, I pulled the cluster of lights out and took a look at the air bag warning lamp. I saw that one of the leads of the bulb was not making contact, and the bulb looked ok. Sure enough, re seating the lead solved the problem of the missing lamp, but now the air bag lamp and the master warning lamp stays on after the engine is started, and still no stored codes! Any ideas? Johnny.
  2. Will the master warning light remain on after the engine is started if any of these warning lights are blown?

Guys thanks for your input thus far. A bit of an update... I just realized that not all my warning lights were lighting up, on the left cluster the air bag light does not seem to show up. I never realized it before because I have never seen it before... Unless the MIL is trying to tell me that a dash light is blown, I have no idea what else to do as a receck of the diagnostic codes still reveals no stored error codes. I searched around for checking the abs codes and found conflicting information. One says bridge E1 and Tc pins, and remove a short connector/jumper and switch on the ignition, and another does not mention the jumper so I tried both methods and got the same results with the ABS, and slip count off lights flashed repeatedly. As far as I have found out, only the ABS light should flash?

The front spoiler was removed since the car came with an aftermarket front bumper. I would see a green light flash on occasion next to the spoiler switches, but I usually have the switch in the off position. The mil light stays on constantly. The spoiler ecu is still in there though. I recently sprayed the terminals of the antenna relay, abs and active spoiler ecus with some crc in an attempt to eliminate connection issues in the hopes of solving this problem.

Hey guys, I have searched on here, and some other forums as well, but I have not been able to solve this issue. I have a Jspec tt (gz) and the MIL lamp has been on since I got it roughly 6 months ago. When I short the two pins to get the fault codes, the check engine lamp just flashes constantly with no pauses. I take this to mean that there are no stored codes? I have checked the brake fluid container and it is filled, and has been since I got it. The brake pads are new, and the hand brake light (!) goes off when it is released. All lamps light up when the ignition is turned during the check sequence, and then they extinguish. The boot is closed firmly, and that is verified by the open door lamp extinguishing when closed.... I can't think of anything else to check.. The car drives without issues, except a rear wheel bearing that makes noises from time to time, this will get sorted soon. please help [sAD][/sAD]
  7. Hey guys sorry to revive an old thread but I have a problem with my supra. The MIL light stays on all the time. When i short the two pins on the dlc2 (tower brace blocks access to dlc1) the slip count and abs lights flash repeatedly.. I have read that it should be the check engine light and the overdrive that should flash? can anyone point me in the right direction? Johnny.
  8. hey guys, i'm sure you prob heard of this problem before but i been searching and could not find it... so here goes when i start my supra i can turn the tarc on and off by pressing the switch, but once i start to drive, the "slip count off" light flashes and from then i cant turn it on or off.... it just continues to flash. I also notice that the car behaves like the tarc is turn off as i get wheel spin and dont see the green slip count light turn on. any suggestions ? thanks in advance
  9. ummm would someone be kind and pull out your abs2 fuse and tell me what happens xD
  10. hey guys, i been poking around the main fuse box in the engine bay and i realized that my 94 supra has 2 fuses marked abs1 and 2, abs one is 60amps and abs2 is 30amps... abs2 is missing and also one of the two pins the fuse slides onto is missing as well... could this be the reason why my abs and red triangle with the ! lights are on?
  11. I too purchased my supra with the red triangle and yellow ABS lights always on, but the guy i got it from says that the airbag got deployed and he did not replace it, but it has been showing the lights from since then.... I'm thinking if it has no airbag why don't the airbag light come on instead of abs? can anyone help thanks in advance
