Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I have had the same thing happening. Garage recently did a full service, inc plugs and rocker gasket. got it back and after a few days the car developed a misfire when on tickover and wouldnt always run on all cylinders when starting from cold. I then got the engine management light. Have just limped it back to the garage this morning for them the look into it. Im papping myself incase its something serious though!

Sorry to hear this, its never easy losing someone you love. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Just gone to change plugs on mine and the rocker gasket looks to be leaking anyone got contact details for suppliers of the full rocker gasket set? or an idea on pricing for a full set??

I think the 220 was for the re worked valve body tbh dude.. the gearbox was for sale seperately i think.. although I may be wrong

Well I am currently saving each payday towards starting this project in the autumn.. im looking at all options at present, i doubt i can afford to get the car to 600hp tbh .. but having said that, i will know better when i have all my funds in place towards the end of the year. deffo worthy of consideration though

Sweet, so how much would you be looking at to supply and fit an autobox capable of 350 - 400hp?

Im looking at going NA/T this year. Was looking at using XSpower setup, but unsure as have heard both good and bad things. the trouble is I dont have the knowledge to build a kit up myself though and some of the other "complete" kits are stupidly expensive.. would welcome guidance off any kind soul in this thread who can help me get a shopping list together.. Im not looking for stupidly high gains, I would be very happy with 350 RWHP. I suppose the first question I have is what does the NA Autobox support , I have heard some folks say anything over 270HP and its a gamble.. if thats the case what did some of you convertee's do when you went to NA/t on your Auto?

I was looking at fitting the same seats but there are no runners / rails for them that fit the Supra. Gutted.

Thanks for the kind words and the welcomes I know im never goin to please everyones tastes with my car, I think if you build a car to everyone elses tastes your always going to be disapointed with the end result. I have tried to focus on what I want to acheive, I have taken others points on board, be they good or bad.. But ultimately I have built it up how I saw it on paper and in my head. Im happy with it so far, Like I say the last step now is the engine bay.. I need to drop in the GTE and wave farewell to the NA lump! Anyone got any ideas on places / people who can assist?

Hi folks, after about 9 months away I thought I would pay a little visit, Actually theres an underlying motive as im hoping to find someone to do an engine conversion for me and TT my Supra. I have got all the bodywork finished to a standard im reasonably happy so now its time to focus on the engine side of things! Some may say I have done things the wrong way around, well.. I like to be different! Anyways, heres a few pic's to jog your memory. Although, looking round I see a lot more new names to the old names these days.. Not that that's a bad thing, I look forward to getting back into things on site over the coming months Anyways, If anyone can assist with my hunt to find someone to do my engine transplant, Id love to hear from you! the ones from sumo are sh1t.. mine has never worked.. total waste of cash!

its gonna be marmite I think... it deffo suits a supra that is kitted out.. looks very similar to the ridox supra in japan now.. If I change my mind I can easily smooth it out again at Elite.
