  1. Great pictures Naz, glad its all up and running again, ouch on that wheel
  2. not sure I agree with your statement but each to their own! Karl - Manuals and autos are great in their own right, I would get out for a ride along in a tt, na, nat-t manual and auto if you can and see what you think, plenty of helpful members on here who would no doubt give you a ride at meet etc. If your ever up my way I would certainly take you out for a spin! As Im sure lots of people will say once decided what you like its best to buy it to that spec and save in the long run, unless you specifically want a project Just my opinion mate hope it helps
  3. yes buying the OEM big brake kit is a sensible idea if you have jspecs and running bpu or moe. They are not cheap, best to get a quote from toyota, if you know a friendly parts manager you can get a better price. I bought mine of a forum member who had bought them new, never fitted and then sold his car, so i picked them up for a very good price but that was just fluke and good timing! PM J_jza80, he got some brand new from toyota but i cant remember what he paid, but I remember he got a good deal!
  4. My 98 vvti came to the uk with jspecs all round, just fitted oem big brakes last week finally
  5. there is one on the facebook group, just went on 2 hours ago "Mkiv bonnet in good condition £80 collected" looks like its in Warrington
  6. following my post earlier in this thread I had mine fitted last week, got them from import car parts for £49 each, qualitywise they appear to be very good! Also they were an incredible improvment on the stock ones I've just had removed ! Felling fine on the road, time will tell but anything to report and I'll post up here
  7. as above, the buying guides are incredibly helpful!
  8. does this have what you need?
