  1. I'm no true connoisseur, but kachina in shirley is one of the nicest eat-in/take-aways I've experienced - just don't park in fitness first!
  2. One of our guys runs a brushless e-revo on 3s lipos. It eats all the petrols and nitros for breakfast lunch and dinner! He gets about 15-20mins run time out of them so has a few sets, but I think he needed to pay about £100 a set. Still, people spend as much on their nitro truggys at the races and aren't as fast. Only problem now is finding tires that don't burst under full power!
  3. Since were posting pics, thought I'd show you a bit of what we get up to each year at the southern model air show Always fun to watch the gassers jumping the van 7ognbAbfiEs
  4. Is this the bit where you put the banana skins in to generate 1.21 jigawatts? http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/porsche/1263881712/1263881712wl.jpghttp://www.fantastic-plastic.com/DELOREAN%20REAR%20CLOSE-UP.jpg

First time I've ever paid for MS software and its only £80 for retail home premium - 32 and 64 discs in the box and not OEM so can be moved around etc. Of course if I didnt have the cash and needed something I'd probably still hit the news groups for "advice", or log in to the action pack subscription site
  6. The cutting out is probably down to tuning - either too rich or too lean on the main needle. You want to have a bit of white smoke on idle with plenty at full throttle when you can get there. If you still have issues you might find the clutch has seized. With the throttle you probably want to re-set the position of the arm on the servo, undo the screw that holds the arm on and take the arm off the servo, center everything on the transmitter and let the servo move into position. then set the arm back on the servo so that it is at idle.
  7. Theres no conspiracy here people, everything is as it seems and nothing is out to get you, move along......
  8. Only time I've ever configured ILO on HP servers I've just plugged it into the network, waited for it to get an IP address and looked on the DHCP server to find it then configure it through its web interface - is that an option?
  9. The only time I ever wanted to use it, it was still disconnected from when I re-aligned the steering wheel. Its hard to describe just how disappointing it is to punch the steering wheel and have nothing happen
  10. I'm Enjoying this - makes me want to go get an angle grinder, a welding torch and a guinea pig car! Probably wouldnt end well though
  11. My local was going to one wheel for "a pint" but they guy did it well, quick and there was no wait, so I ended up tipping him the £20 in my pocket. Happy to do that for helpful young whipper-snapper though
  12. Good luck with the sale. I'm keeping any eye out for a bargain bucket ~£500 beater at the mo as a little project car
  13. Once when I went to tax a car, I found the last 6 month tax disc still stapled to the last v11. So I had been driving taxed but not displaying for 6months - got away with it though. Cant believe I did that much mileage without someone spotting it - is it possible that there are actually some decent people in those blue suits?!
  14. Ive been into off road nitro for a while now, Currently have hong nor x1 bugy&truggy and a crt.5. Used to have a savage, hyper7, rush and rascle. Have dabbled in flight, but that turned out to be a poorly conceived idea, one trip to the playing field was all that lasted! Currently toying with the idea of of a Blade MSR - should be easy enough for even me to fly! I was at the southern model air show last weekend(with the off roaders), great fun! They had a 1/2 scale prop plane of some sort:search:, couple of red arrow replicas in formation which was fun to watch
