I used 800,1200,2000 water grit and then a Rotary Foam Pad with Mirka Polarshine T10 (if I remember well). I can have a look and get you some pictures of the tools if you want.

Thanks mate. The reason I didn't open the headlights and change them to black is because I have plans to get a pair of facelift ones in the near future.

I sprayed the left headlight with clear lacquer but it was a total fail. I ended up removing the lacquer and polishing again.

Hello guys, I decided to restore my headlights and I would like to share my results with you. The results exceeded my expectations to be honest... This is how they looked before. I used 800 grit, then 1200 and at the end 2000. Movement left to right and up to down. This is how they looked after this process. Then I used polishing compound to polish the headlights. This is the final result I have ordered UV protection film to protect them, until I get my facelift ones.

Thanks guys. I am not an electronic expert but as far as I know on a pcb in general the capacitors is the first thing to replace if something is not working and if the problem continues then buy another one and as you said these are 23 years old and if you buy a used one it may have problem also.

Well... By replacing 5 capacitors with total cost of 0,90€ seems the issue is now fixed... So if you face the same problem replace them..

UPDATE: Yesterday night I decided to open the ECU. And it seems that there are leaky capacitors and I believe that this is causing the issue. I will try to replace them today and see if the problem is fixed.

Hello, I have a Supra MK3 with 1JZ-GTE and the last couple of months I have an electric problem. When I turn on the ignition and the tachometer is "playing" an also if you go near to the top of the cylinder head you can hear sparks from the coils. If you start the engine it will run for a few seconds and then it will stall. If you start it again it may work for another few seconds normally and then it will stall again. While the engine is running the tachometer is "playing" ex the engine is idling at 900rpm and the tacho is instantly going to 2000 and back to 900. I have checked the below 1. Change igniter (three of them) 2. Change coils 3. Change plugs 4. Disconnect crank and cam position sensors, MAP, idle control valve, TPS I also checked the error codes in the ECU and I got 14 and 21. 14 is ignition feedback (IGF) error. As mentioned above everything related to ignition has been changed and I have also checked the wires from ECU to igniter and everything looks normal. I am posting here because 1JZ is similar to 2JZ and maybe someone has seen this before. Any ideas??

About the 1700miles journey we traveled the first day to London, the second day to Paris(we stayed 2 days there) and the fourth day in Bologna. Now we are on the boat to Greece

It is very difficult and very expensive. The registration will be more expensive than the car cost. lol that's Greece.... I'll let you know when I will finish with the registration.
