  1. my Supra is used 7 day's a week.. hail, rain, snow and if we ever get it "sunshine" it only cover's about 40 mile's a week though or 58 kilometers never seen the point in buying a car just to bring out in nice weather or just weekend's i buy them to use them (alway's drive to the conditions) i even got funny look's from folk just for using my old BMW convertable in the rain with the roof down (just a passing shower mind) we all work hard at getting them how we want them so get them out daily!
  2. i'll check with the diary (shouting out to wife) "Jacque, doll.. what we doing on the 31st of May?" i'll get back to ya'll
  3. sound's the same as my heater .. what's the best way to try and un block it (if it is blocked?) i bought a bottle of "Rad flush/cleaner" to help flush the system, is it worth a go?
  4. going by my trans/axle code: "AO1B" i read that "B" mean's LSD fitted? i'll try take a pic of the Diff case to, i'm only asking as compared to other that post and that ive spoke to i get little wheel spin and quite a decent bite from the traction (manual box) and when i get the back end out it almost lock's up and send's my car straight!
  5. how many standard fit Diff's are available for a N/A? going by my VIN code mine has a LSD diff fitted but looking through other post's ive seen thing's like "Big case diff" and "oil cooled" etc what's the difference? ( no doubt ive been looking at info for TT Diff's?) had a quick look at my car's diff and i can see some air vent's on the bottom of it, is that standard?
  6. 15:15 it was like this .. snow just started 4 hour's later and it's still falling .. not been heavy but it has been a very steady fall of snow our car's are quite well sheltered by our house, out our back is about double the depth PS, it's still falling
  7. that's the snow on here now, been on since 15:15 maybe i'll have a decent snowy car picture to share
  8. was this right in the lower centre area? at the moment my car has an active spoiler fitted, i was going to "jam it" so it stayed down but i'd never get out my drive way! .. which ive already altered to suit my Supra) i'll go do a little measuring cheer's
  9. does the Do-Luck (style) sit any lower than a standard front bumper? (ive not much clearance as it sit's just now). quite intrested in this
  10. this was as bad as it got, here next to Loch Lomond! this was at 5:30 am last monday morning i keep watching the forecast's, praying for a good snow fall .. look's like were getting none! all we've had of the weather since thursday has been dry, sunny and very, very cold, it was that nice today polished both our car's
  11. yeah .. i searched the internet last night enough said! if it stay's dry today i'll quickly do 2 alloy's in anthracite to see how it look's, i'm might get carried away and try many colour's! it'll all get stripped of when they get dipped for powder coating anyway as for the lip i think ive finaly decided to re-polish them
  12. thank's ellis for the "shopped" pic's tbh i don't realy want to change the wheel's (can't afford it at the mo) they are light-weight alloy's with not a mark on the rim's and are big enough to cover UK brakes, if i ever go down that route? i quite like the white which has now got me thinking .. well it got me thinking so much that ive just bought a proper alloy/metal polishing kit from ebay (which should save me some time) and i'm thinking of going either white or anthracite with the centre's? polish kit: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=270323755987 also bought spare polishing mop's and the spindle adapter to use the kit with a drill. Gold look's nice to but i think i'd get bored of the colour after a while .. folk i know would be saying "are they the wheel's from your old Scooby!" thank's guy's and if anyone has white wheel's with a polished lip on there silver supra feel free to post a pic or two
  13. been thinking about this all morning but i can't make up my mind? what colour should i get my wheel's powder coated? ive started to clean the lip but after some thought ive decided i'm not to fussed about keeping the polished lip now, i just want them clean and fresh looking but also (maybe) a little eye catching but not "TO IN YER FACE!" thinking along the line's of either: black gloss, Hi silver, gold or ?? what ever colour i'd also get some metal flake added any photo-shoppers feel free to try out your skill's
  14. sorry if it's a re-post http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/news/4387759/Nearly-all-speed-cameras-in-Britain-illegal-court-is-told.html
  15. ive some options it might be worth considering have smaller local meet's every month or so and then maybe think about having a large meet every 12 wk's or so? i'm open to any Sunday meet-up if some folk from the west want a wee meet just so face's can be put to name's wee could have a mini meet? showcase is a fairly central spot for edinburgh and the west? the Stirling meet place was a crackin meet place .. big enough for a mass-meet but it is quite a bit of a drive for the more northern guy's i think Pitlochery on the A9 is a fair meet point for folk from east, west and north? everyone get's to have a nice drive there, meet up with folk .. eat, talk etc then have a nice drive home TBH: i don't think it would be fair to ask folk to travel to these types of meet's and then be expected to have a tour, most folk will have covered enough mile's just to get to the chosen meet point
  16. can you PM me a price with P&P for both mirror's, if they are electric folding? Ian
  17. west Dunbartonshire: 2 north lanarkshire:2 Aberdeen: 2 Glasgow City Centre: 2 Ross-shire: 1 Edinburgh: 2 Fife; 1 so far most folk are central and north .. Perth and the A9 area look's like an even central place? maybe Pitlochry?
  18. cheer's, i stripped them off this morning, and found that the sliders and piston's aren't my problem .. the front pad's are shot!
  19. same fit as most 4 stud honda's, Mitsubishi and some rover's
  20. west Dunbartonshire: 2 north lanarkshire:1 Aberdeen: 1 Glasgow City Centre: 1 Forfar 5 Fife 4
  21. Hi folk's i'm thinking about trying to sort out a central meet point for later in the year and maybe try and get as many Scottish based owner's to the one meet. if you are in the same area as someone else can you just add a number next to the area .. the number will represent each owner in that area copy and paste west Dunbartonshire: 1
  22. just a quicky .. ive got a slightly sticky front N/S caliper. i'm going to have a look at it tomorrow can anyone tell me if i need any special tool for the piston (J-Spec N/A) i'm hopeing it's just a matter of cleaning the slider's cheer's guy's
  23. more ASBO info .. http://www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/public/Environment/EH/EP/Noise/Transport/car_exhausts.asp
