  1. Yeah, the brake lines were sent out today. Still some nice refurbed callipers and a refurb kit though
  2. Could do with some bigger wheels to fill them arches
  3. No probs Mustang. £40 quid sound OK? Just been refurbed and all cleaned up. And if no one wants the extra refurb kit I have by the time you collect I'll throw that in as well mate. My sis lives in Arbroath so will be popping up that way in the next few weeks (although my Mrs is meeting my sis in perth this week and she could give her the set and you could collect from Arbroath if its easier (flooding allowing )
  4. Have also got an extra refurb kit available which I thought I'd took back to Mr T. So if anyone wants a refurb kit for their NA then £20 gets you one. Think I might have a really good root round now. See what else is there. Getting told to "sort the garage out" can be better than it sounds.
  5. David, if your still interested you can have the brake lines for asking. Pm me your details. Thanks to the others who have PM'd but David was the first up. As for the callipers: I refurbed them I think about 2 months ago, might have been 3, might have been less. Cant remember. They werent put back on the car as I done 2 sets and left the second set in the garage wrapped in an old towel - and totally forgot about them. (been busy getting married).
  6. Yeah, they're all round and will fit the NA. More info's available in the initial group buy thread here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=179946&highlight=luck
  7. Seeing as the Supe has now been sold I suppose its time to get a bit of stuff that I have in the garage sold. Brand new set of Do Luck Brake Lines from the group buy on here although I missed the actual group bit . Never got round to fitting them so are as new in package - only opened to have a look at the nice shiney and purpley bits. looking for £55 delivered. Set of rear callipers Jspec NA. I ended up with 2 pairs of these and refurbed both. Put a set on the NA before selling and forgot about selling these ones on. Time to get rid now. I can post some pics up when I get back from work tonight if needed. Also got some used disks lying around. Not in great nick I dont think but someone might want them for whatever reason. If someone wants to collect them then they can have them for free - otherwise they'll be going in the skip at the end of the week. Cheers Billy
  8. Think the prob here might be that it wasnt really his mate that done it. Bottom line is that even with a mate doing it you should agree a ball parkish figure before he starts. If he's a mate and is "doing you a favour" because he's a mate, then he shouldnt be charging you the going rate IMO. I wouldnt have let this other guy tell me I couldnt be there either. If he's doing a homer, then I doubt he's covered for anything if he screws it up and his employers didnt know about it. Going rates should only be done when everything is going through the books. A mechanic aint gonna see £100 an hour in his hand if thats what Toyota charge you. And at least you're covered with them as youve entered a contract. If the mechanic sees half of that, then thats what you should pay him, plus a few of quid for his time. Hardly a "favour" if youre paying normal wack without the contract.
  9. she'll never get a job with Abercrombie and Fitch

    A superman belt buckle??? :rlol:
  11. Why are you breaking it mate? Any pics of the seats?
  12. What does it cost to put your car in? To tell the truth the way some people were all over the polished up cars I wouldnt put mine in if it was good enough.
  13. Yeah mate... the find was totally by accident too, which is even better :-) I started off just doing a rear pad change. Realised one caliper was seized, and the sliders on both were stiff as hell. Then thought sod it - gonna change the discs as well. The discs I took off are still decent as well I think. The refurb - like most of the jobs when you've done them once- really is a piece of piss. Cleaning them up was the biggest pain.
  14. It was the annual Cars and Rides mate. Sometimes its good have a mrs who does all the tesco coupons malarky. So the two of us and the little feller got in for effectively nowt. Which to tell the truth was just as well really. Agree that there were some wrecks there - and some sad cars too. Nice eventually meeting the other day Gourdy. Dont suppose you still have the screw for the end tip lying about do you? Gonna order one from Mr T tomorrow if not as I've got to pop down anyway.
