  1. I think they could be right about the "light" as I was going to order one a few months back and they could get it....for £140!!! I refused to pay that for a bit of plastic but thought I would get it now with a view of getting it converted into a working brake light. Phoned with the part no. and they took the order but phoned back within 10 mins to say it had been discontinued. I know what you mean about getting somone you trust to work on your car, will get some pic's up when it's done.....if it looks alright.
  2. It's a UK though, so it's not actually a light, and I managed to break it so it's currently stuck on with tape. I phoned Toyota to order a new one and apperently they don't make them anymore so removed it will be. Badges can be put on anytime if I feel the need (ordered a set from toyota just incase) but it should be much easier to wash and wax the car without them!
  3. Specialist cars, have a mate doing it for me.
  4. Paint was looking a bit shoddy so just getting it re-done in the original Astral black. Getting all the badges removed and centre brake lamp removed and smoothed over. Nothing too exciting i'm afraid.
  5. Yeah the black one was me. I also keep seeing a silver one with OEM sides and spats and front lip round were i'm working, reg M*** TSS. Won't be seeing mine for at least a week though as it's in for a respray! Missing it already.

  12. Mate for that kind of money you could get a decent TT, as for Manual or Auto you try both. I have an Auto and love it!
  13. Was this the green one parked on the boulevard? If so I saw you just after I passed MarcAB10 (i think) on King st., I was heading towards the beach, both cars looked stunning.
  14. On Union St. at around 3.45pm. You flashed, it made me feel special.
  15. I believe weight must be in proportion to height, but I think they take into account your overall "build". I have heard of quite a few people failing medicals due to being "overweight" though, even if they are seen to be physically fit. I'm currently in the selection process for the Marines and have been advised not to do any weight training, it's all about the running!
  16. I stay in Mastrick:(. But the car stays at my gran's. Edit- And the car is a UK spec Auto.
  17. Ditch any weight training and concentrate on running and swimming with lots of interval training ie. sprints/hill sprints etc. For upper body just bang out push up's, pull up's and sit up's making sure you can lift your own body weight comfortably. If you're into weight training and the like you can take it up again once you're in but I don't think it'll do you any favours in training. Good Luck bud.
  18. That looks very nice mate, looking forward to seeing it around up here.
  19. Yeah, that's the one. I've seen it a couple of times now on the way to work, looks very clean.
  20. Sitting at the lights on Anderson Drive at the Great Western Rd. junction at around 7.45 this morning. Anyone on here?
  21. Welcome mate, and good luck with you're search.
  22. Yeah, would have loved to of come to NEMS but the car was looking pretty rough. The wheels have since been refurbed and had new tyres on, just need to get the roof and spoiler resprayed and i'll be less embarrassed to show it off. It's never ending.
