1. Thanks for a great answer! I just want to ensure that I don't miss anything that would be able to mess up my engine. I don't have any problems today so if I have time I grind it.
2. When do I need to modify the oil pump like this? I am running high hp for the moment with stock pump. anybody that have done this by them self? I know that titans sell pumps has these mods
3. Lennart is shipping to sweden on regular basis. Well known trader! You will have to pay the taxes above they price. So you will end up in the range of 2k...
4. Serious and well know traders sell them for 2k..
5. True statement. We did not started to adjust the timing when this happend. But it could be that by timing is not correct and giving wrong input from the trigger. The head is for moment at snakefield but he also where looking on the head and then thought that timing was the problem. Did you judge that the timing is to aggressive from the picture I post? I how much will the headgasket take? I am aiming around 1200hp. Thanks all for your input so far! great!
6. Did you have that with your 7675 turbo that I bought from you? I am running the titan headstuds H11 (L19) but the torque it self is not so high according to the instruction 85 ft lbs (Normal arp head studs has 80ft lbs) Do you remember Jamie which head gasket you where running? Would be great if you could remember the torque. - - - Updated - - - Thanks Chris
7. Exactly, and they try go removed the chatter marks with this stupid hand polishing. I was given this information that they did this after I had install the head on the engine:banghead: Thanks
8. Yes thanks! I think the machine shop that did the machining last time used to high speed so the surface was not perfect smooth so they some manual hand polishing....
9. Is it possible but due to the overpressure in the system was only shown during high boost is it not so likely that you could get at minimum 100bars pressure. (that is what at least have in the cylinders.) I am thinking of a Dye penetrant test otherwise.
10. Yes, Maybe I should use a 2,0mm head gasket instead. Compered to other 1k 2jz engines I don't see any difference in the spec's.
11. 1000hp aren't so much these days and there are plenty of 1000hp supras in small sweden so it should definitely be able to handle the power somehow.
12. So I have removed the head but can't find any cracks either in the head nor the block. But it seems like the combustion has moved outside the expected area. See picture. I thinking about to machine the head again and go with the HKS head gasket instead of the multi layer ones.
13. Could a oem thermostat be able to create this pressurise? Due to higher rev for example

Dyno run help

Always pressure test before dyno..
15. There is always something to learn I have never before hard that a 2jz block has cracked. I will remove the head then and inspect that is going on there. If there where a crack in the block it will be shit! Too much money in that block and I suppose repair is not possible? Thanks V8kilr!
16. You mean that it could be a crack in the head? No evidence that thete is coolant around the cylinder I am thinking of remove the head and measure it to se if it badly machined and crack testet it. I havent hear that a block would crack?
17. No worries mate. That also the oem diff was failing will cost me more....
18. During duno the engine started to doping coolant. This just happend during boost(1064hp). For each pull it pushed out 2liters of coolant at 3 bars of pressure. I am running titans head studs. From my point this happens due to head lift. Proberly need to re-torque the head studs or that the head was not machined properly. What do you guys think?
19. you got mail chris! My oem diff went to the scrapyard....
20. No pics today but I removed one spring from the wastegates due to too high "low boost level". I hope it will work better with 1 bar spring.
21. The pipe was still connect in one side so it probably was bouncing back and forth to the cam gears... I am running on e85 - - - Updated - - - doesn't seems like that. I will just replace the bolts
22. Thanks A little bit scared of this. 1064hp is quit serious.... But for the next dyno we will increase boots to 2.3bar and adjust ignition. That should easily take it to above 1200hp in the engine. That scares me honestly.....
23. Not the last run. I think this one was around 700hp
24. Thanks mate! at high RPM fluid started so pass the rad cap and just go out from the hose. I am not running any header tank so I will decrease my fluid level in the radiator so it can expand more and then really check that my cap seales. My upper rad pipe come loose and went it to the cam gears. That sprayed the whole car with coolant fluid and the bolts on the cam gear are now bended ones.......
