Battery seems fine , it’s been sitting for last three years but had a service about a thousand miles before that . So you think a good drive should sort it ?

Hi guys Not been on for years so hello all . My youngest son wanted to go to prom in my supra so after three years I put it through the MOT flew through and felt really nice to drive ..... however reversed yesterday and it started missing like mad which in an auto is awful . Can’t see any vacuum pipe issues ? Seems ok higher up the Rev range still ? Any ideas ? I’m guessing there’s loads of different reasons it could be ?

I am alot older than you (i,m afraid to say!) I have also had alot of quick cars plus driven alot of them! My advice would be a TT all day! Drive one the calibra is a nice car but even with 300bhp there would be know comparison at all! Totaly diff cars, supras are in the top table of drivers cars before you even touch them. For instance I have a customer with a brand new M5 , we got talking and he said he had also had a supra, his comment was "very, very quick car!!" now if he thinks that and he now drives an M5 I think you get the picture! just out of interest whats the torque steer like? My brother inlaw had a 300bhp rs escort and it told you which way you were going!!LOL:cool:

Is it best to buy tickets before cause I'm not sure who's coming ith me yet?

I have now managed to bypass my amp and the sound is much better! (see previous thread) Now I have the problem that the speakers sound horrible and crackly with any bass whatsoever! I don't want to fit an amp or anything else just 4 speakers in there original sites. I have a pioneer head unit pushing 50w per channel I presume its not rms, altho it does have a great sound to it. So what do you think I don't want to spend a fortune as I am ordering new wheels next week plus I would rather spend my money on going faster!!!! Nearly forgot! The electric ariel does not work? do I hv to do anything with that small ariel type grey lead hanging about behind the stereo (which used to connect to the std unit) Or is it that it could of seized?. Any advice welcome
