  1. This has been great to read. Very Informative, thank you all for your time and effort, this really does help with the ongoing question of 'how much power?' and 'can I use it all?'. I am going for an everyday fast road car that can use as much of its power without shredding tyres. The figure of 600BHP was just a guideline, I don't for any moment feel that I need, or can indeed use, that amount of power. Again, thank you all for your help. This is a very friendly club with a lot of very knowledgable people and I am proud to be a member. Stu
  2. You should be a politician, that's a very good way of putting it! Thank you;) Stu
  3. Check this out, triple screens, hydraulic seat, I want one now!! Stu:eyebrows:
  4. Thanks everyone, I wasn't aware that the HKS Kit is running in parallel, I just presumed that the system remained relatively unchanged and certain parameters were uprated (bigger turbos, better fuelling etc). I now understand that after BPU, if you want more power, then going the Single turbo route is the most cost effective way to go. Are Singles as reliable as a BPU car? Stu
  5. Well I want as much as possible really, but 600BHP seemed to be a figure that was used as a benchmark for phenomenal performance but retaining some degree of reliability. Stu
  6. I am soooo looking forward to this being released! I've played Forza 2 to death! Stu
  7. Here's a question for you all, in real world driving which would be the more potent machine, a 600BHP Supra with Twin Tubbies or a 600BHP Single? I've seen a few on the tinterweb that are running twins (HKS I believe) that are producing 600BHP and I know quite a few of you are running the same on a Single. What I'm wondering is that Toyota developed the Twin Turbo system for a reason, so is it for a quicker spool up? If you replace both Twins for larger twins, surely you will have more lag which would defeat the whole purpose. Oh, maybe I should just go Single and be done with it!! Stu
  8. I'm loving this Thread! Not only do I love to see my Car when my Wife drives it (obviously I follow her to see she's not racing anyone lol), but I'm not ashamed to say that I have a quick glance at the reflection in windows! Even today the Supra shape looks fantastic. Has anyone else noticed that because the Supra has a strong road presence, that people make a point of accelerating as quick as they possible can, past you. Even if they are driving diesels! Audi drivers in particular seem to feel very uncomfortable having a Supra in front of them. Stu
  9. That looks fantastic! It's very inspiring to see how you can do different things to the Supra. Hopefully I can see the car in the flesh one day (I don't live that far away). My wallet's starting to groan already with my plans for my Supra! Great stuff. Stu
  10. Ok, cool thank you. Is Oil pressure more important that temperature then? I know it seems like a daft question, but I'd rather know what does what and have things that enhance the car and not millions of dials and lights for the sake of it. Or would temp and pressure be a better combo, rather than just one or the other. Am I correct in thinking that the AFR also comes as a little rectangular device that I could put elsewhere? Stu:search:
  11. I did think of that, but I was worried that I'd keep banging my bloody head on it getting in or that it would obsure my view. I'm probably just being a girl though (to all the female owners, I apologise!). Stu
  12. That looks great! I got one for Christmas, but haven't had the time to put it together yet. After seeing yours though, I'm going to get off my arse and get on with it. Stu
  13. Fair Point! :taped:Are the pods that mount onto the left side of the dash any good? I can imagine that they are easier to see, I'm just not keen on drilling loads of holes into the dash. My Spec is standard J Spec Twin Turbo at the moment, but I'm going BPU, which is why I wanted the gauges in ready. Stu
  14. Hi Guys & Girls (bloody hell, I sound like Jimmy Saville!), I'm looking at getting a 3 Gauge holder that fits under a single din stereo and was wondering which are the most important gauges that I need? Presuming Oil temp, Boost, but not sure about the third? Or should I have a pod elsewhere for the boost? Any replies would be very welcome. Cheers Stu
  15. Daily driver all the way baby! Always wanted a Supra and now I've got one, I'm gonna enjoy her (I've called her Gemma, much to the wife's disgust!). Stu
  16. Cheers, yes that would be great if you could post some pictures. Stu;)
  17. Here's a question for you all, does anybody know who could retrim the Supra dashboard in Leather? The style I'm thinking is similar to TVR interiors and the new BMW Z4. If there is someone that could do this (I'm sure there are), how much would it cost? Many thanks for any help. Stu
  18. Saw you today going into Billingham town centre, car looked really nice! Stu
  19. No, I'm aware of that, but just out of curiosity you would think that driving a fairly rare car like a Supra and then spotting another one, you would at least look over, wouldn't you? Stu
  20. Did he ignore you as well? Stu:rolleyes:
  21. Drove alongside you tonight about 7:45pm and waved, but you completely ignored me! And before anyone asks, I was in my Supra ('cos random people waving is a little scary!). It was on the A689 past Wynyard. Stu
  22. I'm even more gutted that I couldn't make it now, it looked great! It was nice weather yesterday as well, really sunny. I'll catch up with you all soon. Stu
  23. Sorry Guys I'm not going to be able to make it now. Bloody gutted![sAD][/sAD] Mind you, if this is to become a regular fixture, then I can always make the next one. Stu
