  1. I doubt it exists! hes dreaming the engine looks stock with a fmic fitted.
  2. in time mate ill get xmas out the way first thanks
  3. decent fuel is available in the north i agree only 95 is available in the south.
  4. i run 99 now. 95ron with octane boost killed my engine. your sup is obviously running more performance upgrades than mine if your running 1.4bar ive only stock turbos. my turbos blew up and i wrecked a cylinder. bp ultimate is 97 i believe and a lot better fuel than 95 which is all they sell in the republic of ireland.
  5. its ok if your driving sensibly (boring) but it certainly limits the fun factor. the biggest thing the cops drive there is a mondeo so theres no worry about gettin chased down personally i would avoid it but thats because of my own experience driving there it cost me the price of an engine and labour. a weekend trip should be ok i was there 6 years and had my supra there for 2 years even using the octane boost at 1bar wrecked my engine. rather than sell the car i moved back to the uk!
  6. its a show winning hedge alright!
  7. millers is a good octane booster i used that myself when i was there i would still keep to 0.9bar though. above that is a gamble.
  8. He should be flooded with emails anyway but not to buy the car just to tell him hes a muppet for askin so much for it!
  9. I think my calculations about getting from the ferry term at dublin to galway and back to the boat on one tank of fuel could be rather ambitious sorry i had a retarded moment there.
  10. wow thats some spec sheet bud fair play to you fella.
  11. as long as its in a secure container i suppose they cant do much. maybe it will make the irish jelous that your bringing in proper petrol haha
  12. you could do that mate just watch at security before you get on the boat if your planning to take a couple of cans bud.
  13. you could take an emergency 10mm spacer with you just so it clears the caliper if you cant get your hands on a uk space saver mate. i know spacers are frowned upon but it would only be a temporary solution.
  14. I dont see how he could run a claimed 470+bhp on 95octane fuel they dont sell anything else at the pumps there. surely the stock turbos would decintegrate with poor detonation. There would be internal wear in the car he probably doesnt even know. would that figure be possible with stock turbos?
  15. well done. keep it between the lines mind
  16. Hes said to much spec to list then he goes and lists it i think this guy was an extra in the ringer with johnny knoxville!
  17. They dont call it the rip off republic for nothing! do you think its meant to be a euro sign there instead of pounds? even at that its still over priced!
  18. I dont think the noise is part of the mot its only emissions they check. As for it being against the law that would be up to pc plod to decide if you get stopped depending on what kind of mood their in.
  19. filling up before you get on the boat would get you to galway and back to the boat bud but not much else. I wouldnt trust the E5 stuff too much it says on the pump to contact your vehicle manufacturer before filling either way i wouldnt run more than 0.9bar to be safe.
  20. dont mean to put a downer on it but the fuel is very weak there wile c!
  21. Bare in mind folks they only sell 95octane at the pumps over there so make sure you have your bc wound down to about 0.9bar if you have one or your engine may go pop if you get excited on the loud pedal! I found out the hard way and it was a very costly mistake. good luck to all who makes the trip.
  22. I would buy them mate there a good price.
  23. yeah i got ass raped for mine! envy are an expensive outfit!
