Just to note on the Aston front - really think about it before you buy - the DB7 is getting reasonably cheap to buy but there are two very good reasons - 1) they were shite 2) they are bloody expensive to run... how expensive - my brothers Vantage was £50K second hand, sold it after a year for £42K, cost him £3000 in servicing in that time (and only about 8000 miles) - like a plug change is £700!! Really! Petrol is comprable to a tuned supra but the depreciation and servicing costs just kill it for me. I looked at a DB9 a few weeks ago but settled on a C4S Porsche instead for these very reasons...

You really are a tosser Flynn - try re reading your own posts at the time - how helpfull you said I was, how much you loved the car - a few receipts get lost in the post which 2 years on no one will give a toss about and you start slanging - no wonder you only ever post on the other forum where all the banned members from here end up. Class A Pratt!!

Never had those wheels.... The IC is one of the custom ones Dude had made with the Blitz hard pipe kit I think.. - clearly works very well...
-
Yeah it was dyno'd dozens of times to get the right set up so it fuels beautifully - dyno shows over 480 at the rear wheels so over 600 at the crank would be about right Brakes were red but now has brand new week old blue ones - so clean you eat off them!!

Changed the price to £10500 - it must go soon!!

Yep gearbox is standard and has presented no problems at all Car is near Aylesbury Ok sell sell sell - performance - it eats everything and I mean everything - has left a 911 turbo for dust and beaten a GSXR1000 on the 1/4 mile apparently (so Dude told me) Handles really well and stops better than anything I've ever driven Plenty of pics going up next...

Look on Autotrader for any 3 year old 360 and they all show 4 or 5 or even 6 owners - says a lot about a "dream car" when no one lived the dream for more than a few months. I had a 355 and tested to 360 when time came to trade up but really didn't like it - and without sounding arrogant I am what most would think of as very wealthy and I wouldn't want to keep up with the servicing bills and new clutches

Anyone want a pair of Gold Circle (that's right by the stage) tickets for Sunday's (11th) Bon Jovi concert at Milto Keynes bowl - Nickelback are support - and these are the best tickets in the place - right by the stage I have two that I now don't need - similar are going on Ebay for £700 a pair - I'll take the best offer by Tharsday so I can then overnight them to arrive Friday [email protected]

What get sme is private clubs have the ban forced on them too - if I choose to have a smokers only club that is not public and has a membership requirement that is to be a smoker I cannot legally do that under the new law - why?? Of course there is a way around it - I'll simply lease 1 square foot of my club to each member so that they "own" that piece of property and so can smoke in it - say £200 a year for the lease and membership - 500 members in each town who are driven out of normal pubs plus the profits on the alcohol and thanks you Tony I'll be a millionaire within 6 months!! Shame they don't ban drinking in public too as it costs the country more in health problems and far more in policing and very few accidents occur by smoking a driving whereas drinking..... and who ever walks to a pub???

And a sobering though is that Childline say they may have to close some centres at night due to lack of funds - they are merging with the NSPCC and neither body get any government support.. If a 16 year old boy bangs a 15 yo girl yes he could be... A friend of mine's son was accused at 15 of sexual assult on a 15 yo girl - which turned out to be they started snogging (with full consent) and she touched his penis and so he touched her between the legs at which point she kicked up - and told her parents he had touched her without permission - he is now on the Sex Offenders Register and has three times been asked to provide DNA samples when local crimes are committed. At 17 now he has not been near another girl and will probably be put off for a very long time And yet know offenders can get in to schools and the Catholic Church took a full page add in the Irish Times to appologise for years of sexual abuse by their priests and not one prosecution was ever made... Strange society we live in

Paul , Si Thanks guys - I've checked the loom and it's all intact as far as I can tell - there is a gromit through the fire wall Paul - would apreciate it mate - mine is a 300 with Intellistart so the receipt says (installed by Matt B when he owned the car)

My alarm has gone off for no reason the last two nights and each time I turn it off with the plip it starts again for 4 or 5 times then stays off. I checked the car thoroughly this morning and whilst it gave me the usual extra beeps to show the alarm had gone off I also noticed that the dash led that normally flashes slowly is now flashing very fast - permanantly. (As in I've driven the car, set the alarm several times and it still flashes really fast every time the alarm is set) I don't have a manual so does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?? Thanks

I am at around 5000 rpm at this speed and I noticed last night the AF ratio gauge goes off the scale - below 11:1 - could it be it's stumbling a bit being too rich under load at that point??
-
I seem to have developed a stutter or misfire at high speed - the wierd thing is it is only speed related not occuring when on full revs or full boost at lower speeds - basically when I get to around 145 it gets a hesitant and then by 155 its really noticable but will pull through and keep boosting, reving and accelerating right through to top speed (about 195) Running a single with the following spec Iridium IK24 plugs Full Boostlogic T61 kit FSE Fuel pressure regulator 650cc injectors Walbro fuel pump with 12v conversion HKS GT 50 Wastgate - Part of BL kit BL heat blanket for turbo. Full Blitz Nur Spec exhaust De-catted Apexi SAFC-2 Apexi AVC-R It just makes no sense to me that it only comes in at speed rather than rev or boost related and has just developed from nowhere - any ideas where to look??

The Supe will handle snow and ice ok if you know how to drive it - it's well worth taking it out late at night and practicing - I got mine out of London a few years back when there was inches of ice and snow and the whole North Circular was closed down - it took 7 hours to do a journey that should have been 90 minutes but mostly due to other drivers blocking the roads (did make me laugh when I pulled up next to a cab with a £97 fare clocked up) - I also got to Reading and back to Aylesbury 2 years ago in the worst weather for years - including getting up the hill to the M40 roundabout in Wycombe which is a 1 in 3 and was sheet ice and sludge - scary but doable. Best bit of that journey was seeing a cop car coming the other way plough in to a 4x4 because he couldn't stop (slow speed and no one hurt so it made me chuckle) Go out about 3 am when there's snow around and just carefully practice - it's all about keeping moving and careful throttle control

I have the black and love it - the menu is not intuative but can be customised to work well - just bought my GF a pink one and she loves it too BUT - it seems to have some software probs - random shut down etc - I think maybe they're rushing the latest batch out quickly for Xmas and some are not spot on - CPW are going to swap the pink but not til after Xmas as they have no stock now
