  1. baby blue- maybe not as ridiculous as it sounds after seeying this (then again jus' my opinon):
  2. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. much appreciated.
  3. bump..bump... I am guestimating the exhaust cam gasket is the same as non vvti but I still cannot find out which is the vvti intake gasket number. Please can someone help me out here?
  4. that is the series 1 pre-facelift speedo though. Series 2 TRD speedo = hens teeth..
  5. RSP is the sexiest supra colour ever IMO.
  6. Im out after this post. To me they are copies. probably very good copies but I will now never know. Copies to me doesnt mean bad. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. to me copies are good- you seem to take it as critiscism But as I as I said in previous posts (and if you cant tell I was leaning towards buying these)- "For that money bugger it i would give am a crack TBH". " " But if you get some and find them ok PM me so I can get some" "if you are willing to do a little R&D yourself maybe they would be ok" and yes I did say "that and the fact the only thing the guy has sold previously is one set of VW brakes and a heap of PS3 games " - meaning as the second quote above states if someone gave them a GO AND SAID THEY WERE OK i WOULD BUY SOME. you cant hold that against me I have over 1200 ebay purchases and have been burnt by new sellers before on many occasion. once again "If you do buy them and you dont hit the wall and they work out ok let me know.." If you cant figure out i was very seriously looking at buy 2x sets of these for front and back well I am sorry. It was never my intention to offend you- dont take it personally as it was never intended personally.
  7. you twit- if you read through this thread I have been basically sticking up for the idea of using unknown products and finding out for oneself- and stating that just because they are 'cheaper' and unknown doesnt make them bad. If I had a subara impreza and another car maker (say toyota) bought, re-badged and sold the same car as a toyota 'whatever-the-hell-it-is' my toyota would be a copy of your subaru- so your brakes are copies of the others or the others are copies of your brakes. Who really gives a sh*t if they are copies- its a fact. I would rather buy an identical copy at 1/2 the price than the real thing and paying twice as much for something identical. grow up? how about you take your phatboy brakes and shove them where the sun dont shine. I was actually considering sending you a message on ebay asking if I can get the rotor- centres and brakes in blue and how much for a set for front and back. After your little smart a** tirade I will now be buying D2's or similiar. And if you dont believe me check my post where I say "if anyone try's these out and they are good let me know so I can buy some" and all the other posts where I have said this sort of stuff shouldnt be dismissed just because its cheap, or coming out of asia etc.
  8. I know a carbon fibre manufacturer in china that is very well priced and pretty damn good at what they do. PM if you want some details
  9. copy [ˈkɒpɪ] n pl copies 1. an imitation or reproduction of an original 2. a single specimen of something that occurs in a multiple edition, such as a book, article, etc. vb copies, copying, copied 1. (when tr, often foll by out) to make a copy or reproduction of (an original) 2. (tr) to imitate as a model they are therefore copies of the same brakes are they not?
  10. does anyone have any photos/ or can take some of the mounting points for the do luck rear tension set- I am about to fit mine and just wanted some pics of how it goes together... pics of the mounting plates at the bottom (floor) below the front seat belts and same for rear would be great if anyone has got/ can take any.. cheers!
  11. As has been said- my ebay kit (I bought it because I couldn't find a reputable supplier) was absolute sh*te. 12 hours of work went into getting the front bumper to fit- and then after that effort the side skirts were so bad I have ordered a good quality pair from a reputable local supplier (who doesn't have the whole kit so I didn't have that option with the front bumper etc - which is costing as much as the whole kit cost off ebay). in short unless you are very good at cutting, joining and fixing fibre glass buy from a reputable seller.
  12. c'mon people - pictures of remote oil filter relocation
  13. if that bar is in the way of people (in that it may cause them to hit their heads) I will be grinding off the mounts and moving them further down into the hatch area to avoid this- j80leo can you give me a rough idea of the length of that bar so i can buy a piece of ali bar to suit please?
  14. Personally I am going vipec. Plug n play for vvti and heaps of other great stuff. but as was said ask your mapper. OR Ryan lol... he is the man to ask - and listen to!
  15. hehe. NP. its near midnite here in australia!

  20. does anyone know how much a full set of UK spec's with stainless ADR approved lines n slotted discs in near new condition are worth on todays open market? just curious- might just put my oney where my mouth is.. then again it might pay for me to keep my UK specs in case they turn out to be cr*p...
  21. yeah if I could just get the size of yours as is now I will add a couple centimetres and I know how much to source- then I will have it cut to size...
  22. Im also interested in this- I am about to mount mine and am leaning towards the front passenger wheel well in front of the tyre behind the bumper.
  23. Never thought of that- excellent point... distinct possibility I suppose but it never bothered anyone else before- hell the minute a car / bodykit comes out people are moulding and selling "replicas" of it through lots of channels...hmm makes me wonder... thanks for the suggestion though- I am really curious I have had this kit here for a week or so and ony just noticed this yesterday (yes I must be blind I know) btw nice car dr...
