  1. This topics been done to death already mate. Have a quick search and you'll see all the options have been discussed at length. In short, sell the sz and buy a TT and go from there. Quickest, cheapest and definitely the most sensible option.
  2. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, "more money than sense". Let's spend 6 million dollars to keep my collection of mediocre cars in mint condition.
  3. This is a very useful buyers guide here: http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=28569 Check for all the things already mentioned, along with one of the most crucial failures, which is the rear subframe. It's all about history, history history. Make sure the recalls and guarantee work have been carried out aswell. I've owned an e46 m3 and loved it. But for peace of mind I'd strongly recommend getting a pre purchase inspection done at a BMW specialist. If you've any questions feel free to pm me.
  4. Best of luck with the sale Blackie. Exceedingly good value, even with the turbo seal issue. Any cheaper and you'd be far better off breaking it. Some nice parts on it that I'd say you'd shift very easily. Someone's going to get a great buy here

    Underseal

Is this a service you're offering mate? Or are these just the prices you've been quoted?
  6. Fantastic value. Can't see that depreciating much, if at all.
  7. He has mentioned a few times 35k, you never know, he might go for a cheeky offer. Long story short I want hodges car over just about anything else on the forum
  8. 28-30k registered according to my sums. Shipping, plus vat, plus customs, plus registering etc For that kind of money I'd be all over hodges car. Granted it's not a genuine TRD, but its much higher spec, an aerotop, and in my view a better car in just about every way. But thats just my opinion
  9. Thought I'd bump this in case you were looking for some more inspiration to buy an F10 5 series...... http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149063&stc=1&d=1332974359 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149064&stc=1&d=1332974359 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149065&stc=1&d=1332974359 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149066&stc=1&d=1332974359 http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=149067&stc=1&d=1332974359
  10. Josh's car is a UK spec, which are massively cheaper to insure for younger drivers.
  11. I like your wheels What are they? Lovely looking car!
  12. Just make sure the insurance company were aware that it was a jap import, as to me that quote seems very cheap for a 21 year old. Do just recheck your quote, so you don't get your hopes up. Other than that, a supra would be a great buy, especially if you do so few miles. A word of warning though, if you've no rear wheel drive experience, Supra's can be tricky to drive and will catch you out, especially if you're acting the maggot and don't have much experience. If you do get one, just take care in it, as it will bite when you make a mistake.
  13. Perfect wheels for a perfect car. Amazing machine it has to be said. You must pinch yourself everytime you look at it. I don't think the novelty of owning that would ever wear off (perhaps when you look at your credit card statement :D)
  14. Very clean car mate Beautiful in fact! Im not usually a fan of the modified look, but that is lovely. I lurked on this forum for a long time, I used to enjoy the updates on your car and many of your posts. I assumed you had sold and moved on! Good to see you still have it!
  15. Agreed. Absolute rubbish. Msport package is styling and suspension options on the car. They share the exact same engine as the SE models. The only explanation is the previous owner of the car may have chip tuned it.
  16. Thought I'd get the group buy list started. Hopefully it'll get mod approval 1. Pedrosixfour 2. Jellybean 3. Nige-rz
  17. Lovely looking motor mate! Great colour. Where abouts in Ireland do you live? Is it TT manual or auto?

    Eco-Supra?

Ah yes that makes sense. Might have a look into this over the weekend. At the minute my daily is an E60 545i, I'm doing about €860 a month in fuel on that alone, so ill definitely move into something more economical soon. I just love that V8 roar. There's loads of kits on the BMW forums to slap a 2JZ into your beemer, so hopefully doing it in reverse wouldnt be impossible.

    Eco-Supra?

Why not 335d engine or 535d? Same cc capacity, just massively more powerful. Also, to answer the comments above about "why not just buy a 330d?" etc, it's very simple, they don't look like a supra. I'd love one for a daily driver.
  20. Clean looking car wrong section through mate
  21. It's pointless trying to categorise dog's. You cannot tar an entire breed with the same brush. I'd 2 rottweilers while growing up and they were the soppiest things I've ever encountered. In the 15 years we owned them, they never reacted in any negative way to a situation. It's the nurture versus nature argument. Dog's must be trained by a responsible owner, and if done correctly, it massively reduces the risk of a dog. My King Charles Spaniel was bitten before Christmas by a Labrador. A labrador will never be put on a dangerous breeds list, yet, like any dog, they have the potential to cause harm.

    Eco-Supra?

The engine from the BMW 335d/535d would be amazing. (Did I really just suggest putting a DIESEL in a Supra:blink:) Although in my defence, it's 272 bhp and 95% of the 413lb-ft of torque is available at 1500 rpm. More importantly, you can still tell everyone you drive a twin turbo!
  23. Just out of interest, what car are you thinking of going for Jamesy?
  24. Very nice looking motor mate! Absolutely crying out for a TT conversion. Lovely car
  25. 1. SupraDan24 2. nige-rz (still depending on shipping cost)
