  1. I'm sorry but the fitment and gaps of the front bumper and bonnet actually made me laugh. The cost of this car plus the money to put it right would definitely get you a clean auto members car. Don't get impatient in your search, as I can guarantee you'll regret it in the long run.
  2. The worst thing about this car is that a small fortune has obviously been spent on it. What a waste of money.

    turbo refurbish

Tooquicktostop got this done. He paid around £900 from what I can remember. That was for hybrids though with better internals, so it might be a bit cheaper for just reconditioning. If you're on a budget, you'd be better off just looking out for a decent set of 2nd hand ones. Pretty sure they go for about 3-400.
  4. You think you've a list of jobs to do to your Supra- Ha try running and keeping an m3 in tip top shape. It's a never ending very expensive task, but they are lovely cars. The rasp is addictive.
  5. God that actually made me laugh out loud
  6. Just my 2 cents, but I've a facelift TT6, and I still find myself sitting there the odd time thinking, I'd love if it were an aerotop aswell. Id def manual NA-T your aero rather than buy a manual N/a. (assuming it is a good base car paint condtition etc)
  7. No hassle mate, that car had the V160/161 6 speed box in it. Thats now gone into his own build from what I can remember and its now a 5 speed. So i'd imagine theres a fair bit less mileage on that box in the car now! But anyway, I seem to be doing a sterling sales patter for a car I don't even own Hope the search goes well mate P.s. If I were you I'd hold onto the aerotop and get a manual in there, best of both worlds then.
  8. A lot of time, effort and money has gone into this clearly. I'm delighted you got yourself great results after mapping. Lots of useable power there to enjoy, and its a very good looking car aswell. Top job mate
  9. I think this is a bargain: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?265465-£2400!!-1996-Facelift-Manual-5spd-N-A Meets the majority of your requirements and looks a very tidy car. Dont worry about mileage on an N/a, as I'm sure you know they are relatively bullet proof, and if worst came to the worst you could probably pick up another low mileage N/a engine for about £70-100. Not my car, but it does look a nice one to me.
  10. Bargain car this mate. Can't believe it's still hanging around. I know it's on a uk reg now, but it'd be worth putting in your done deal ad that no VRT has to be paid to put it back on an Irish reg. Might sway the deal for someone if it stays over here.
  11. All this talk of tuna Mayo sandwhiches has made me fancy one now

    Hi from Ireland

I'm in Dundrum in Dublin during the week, but Laois at the weekends. So you're not a million miles from me. Nice to see a few more tasty TT's popping up over here Give me a shout if you're ever near me, would be nice to get a good look at it.
  13. Love RSP. Beautiful colour! A lot of quality parts going into this mate, its a credit to your efforts. Its a personal thing, but I just cannot warm to that front splitter. Just doesnt blend for me or follow the lines of the car. But its a lovely car all the same.
  14. Dye the carpet black and that's a perfect interior mate. Love your ice install

    pikeys!

I detest them. They nicked the wheels off my supra a couple of months ago, 2 days after I discovered one of them in my shed "looking for scrap". They also did this last week in Cork, on a main road at mid-day. [video=youtube;oGO-OupENC4] They have complete and utter disregard for everyone and everything. I'm a solicitor, and on a daily basis deal with them in the courts. Some of the sentences they receive (the majority) are a complete and utter farce, with the most common defense submited for their actions being, "its part of our culture". How anyone can describe acting like a filthy degenerate a "culture" I don't know. Rant over.
  16. You could build your own for about 50k sterling when I last priced everything up. Still an awful lot of money though.
  17. I looked into this extensively before Christmas as I think the RWB style Porsches are simply stunning. All I can say is that it is certainly a very rich mans hobby. When you price up a decent 993 (not even a turbo model) and the extensive bodywork and crazy wide wheels, it makes a single turbo build look like petty cash. Ive decided to wait a few months before making the final decision, but I do want one so badly Then again I do covet Hodges car to an inappropriate extent A personal favourite.... http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=151359&stc=1&d=1336516020
  18. I'm a solicitor. Long hours, tedious work, but it can be interesting from time to time.

    Hi from Ireland

Reading his first post was key to me forming this opinion.

    Hi from Ireland

Welcome along buddy. Very tasty looking car I must say! Really liking the red. Where abouts in Ireland are you from? A TT6 is a rare car over here.
  21. Is it a power steering whine perhaps? From a nackered power steering pump? Or does the noise increase with revs? If it's the latter, I'd put my money on a worn out gearbox mate!
  22. Great choice mate. Lovely little motor you've got yourself there. Compared to all the rough looking R32's you see on donedeal, this was definitely the better choice. Tax is a killer, my daily is the top rate aswell!
  23. I've used this company 3 times now and have been very impressed and happy with the quality of their work. So they get a big thumbs up from me. http://royalsteeringwheels.com/
  24. There's always room for specialist dealers with a good reputation in my opinion mate. The only drawback would be the costs involved. Unless you're going to fill the forecourt with NA's, you'll need quite a bit of start up capital. You would rip through 60-100k with stock and a decent showroom. I don't know your current financial position, but with banks simply refusing to give credit lines to existing businesses, never mind start ups, you may find it very difficult to get started. All the best with it mate, would be a dream to work with something you're passionate about

    End of an Era!!

I really don't think the pictures did your car justice mate. Having seen the video clips, it's was/is an absolute stunner. Sad day it's gone, but at least you got a good price. Beautiful motor though, has to be said. A credit to you
