Ok after reading a good few pages on here I'm still stuck in this.
Been working on the engine bay the past week (new intake manifold and y pipe and replacing old cam cover gaskets). As well as a bit of tidying and cleaning of various plastic covers etc. got it all back together and started car.
Car had not moved in 2 months before this so battery was very low on power, but the car started all was fine just a small bit of smoke from the manifold (bit if oil had dripped on it from cleaning the leaking gaskets) all was good until it suddenly just cut out, car was low on fuel so I left it until today and put in 6 litres of fuel assuming this was the issue.
Now car turns over but will not start. All fuses are fine, no warning lights, fuel pump is working (can hear it) everything electrical works. Only odd thing is what sounds like air escaping when u give up trying to turn it over I've checked all hoses and all seem to be connected.
Any ideas?
