right as i has a bit of spare time i did a bit of work on why the car was lacking any error codes. Turns out it does have an error code code 14 which is an ignition issue. I would assume this would stop it starting?.

Right still is not starting so am stripping it all back and checking everything. First Problem is the spark plugs are the wrong ones ngk bcpr6ey isn't correct for a NA if I've read the FAQ correctly so will be ordering new ones. Could this be the problem? Will this have done any damage? Picture of one of the plugs should they look like this or is this a particularly bad one.

Ok after reading a good few pages on here I'm still stuck in this. Been working on the engine bay the past week (new intake manifold and y pipe and replacing old cam cover gaskets). As well as a bit of tidying and cleaning of various plastic covers etc. got it all back together and started car. Car had not moved in 2 months before this so battery was very low on power, but the car started all was fine just a small bit of smoke from the manifold (bit if oil had dripped on it from cleaning the leaking gaskets) all was good until it suddenly just cut out, car was low on fuel so I left it until today and put in 6 litres of fuel assuming this was the issue. Now car turns over but will not start. All fuses are fine, no warning lights, fuel pump is working (can hear it) everything electrical works. Only odd thing is what sounds like air escaping when u give up trying to turn it over I've checked all hoses and all seem to be connected. Any ideas?

Mines Also an NA but a 93 Aerotop checked and all fusebox is connected that i can see and yes it does come out of the loom there. This is a pic front on with the battery out. Im assuming as nobody knows what it is its not going to be the reason car does not start

Apologies for the terrible pic but im having some starting issues (car wont start full stop) and in having a look round ive found this plug which isnt connected to anything any ideas what it is? also could it be related ti my starting issue?. Its located near the fuse box and the cable its attached to runs to the top of the engine block.

Well car was cleaned, then rained on so dried off and tidied up again then rained on again, think it will be a speed detail job now in the morning if its dry

Also the spec list is pointless, in 5 to 10 years time most of it won't even be available . Even if it is it will be out of date and not really suitable for dream car you think your going to build.

When I considered it the only real option was the TT engine down to better starting platform and was cheaper for solid reliable power. In the end did neither as I'd probably die in it with my lack of driving skills . Either way u go dibs on the manifold u bought other day
