  1. Thanks mate might have another look at my relay box then.
  2. Hi peeps hoping someone can do me a favour, next time someone has their bonnet open could they check 2 things for me- 1. on pre ignition with lights on dash lit check whether trac lights go out after certain time. 2. When turning key to pre ignition listen out for a light click from the abs trac relay box. Trying to find the route of my traction control problem and I heard my relay box click yesterday wondering if it's a bad connector. Thanks everyone. Si
  3. I remember my dad telling me a story of when he owned a mini. Him my mum were giving a ride to a rather large police officer friend and his largish wife. On his way he went over a hump in the road a bit to quickly and ended up with a busted rear subframe
  4. My mind boggles on how he is controlling this, if I was flying it, it would either be not to far from the earths core or burning up on exit of the earths atmosphere . Also I know these little jet engines are about £2.5K (I wanted to put one on a bicycle ).
  5. The video of him hiding from the police, had me in stitches, cause he a straight up ninja (no really even his mates think so go to YT and check comments). Makes me want to swear .
  6. Haha I don't know where bobapple came from if I am honest, one of my stranger moments. I should ask it to be changed really but then it might get even more confusing.
  7. Well it's got my name on it. Little presie of my bro and his missus from Amsterdams Heineken brewery.
  8. I think someone should be-friend him on bookface and post a link to this thread on his wall .

  10. Just to point out I did not choose the re trim though I am guilty of liking it 8 years ago and when I was 21 . It's on my list to do, need a respray first as the paint work is starting to show signs of its age.
  11. I know chavtastic I want black leater with silver detailing nowww.
  12. I have blue leather seats I used to think it was cool, I now want a re trim .
  13. Honestly mate I don't know if my powers of persuasion would stretch that far , it is a very good deal for what you get, but I was hoping to use the stripping down part of the car as a replacement of him getting a kit car, also keeping the engine as simple as we can so he can work on it as he know quite a bit of stuff but he is still limited to what he can do (though he will probably tell you otherwise ).
  14. I haven't seen that thread before made me chuckle, especially him battlin' or attempting to break dance reminded me of this : or this [video=youtube;-y_1TmbMbi0] .
  15. Well I am hopefully persuading my dad and brother to go in with me on a track toy. As of recently my dad has been selling a lot of stuff including his tourer caravan which he kept in a decent size garage at the back of his house (he is now getting a static at least it's another caravan off the road ). So he is left with an empty decent size garage, now I know he has wanted to build a kit car but really cant see him undertaking it. So after a day out at Oulton park, in Chris's monstrous Skyline, I also got taken out in a MX5 which I was quite impressed by, which I thought at the time this would be a good beginner level track day car. Now I hear about my dad selling up and kit car, and as soon as I do I am saying track car . So I had a quick look on autotrader and you can get a good first gen mx5 for £1500 before haggle, so all I have to do is persuade them between 3 of us it's not going to be mega money. I thought at first full service, belts fluid etc, rip out everything fit rollcage, harness and a good geo setup. Set up electric fans on switch to allow to keep on after shut. Also everything we rip out can be sold on ebay to pull money back. So keep your fingers crossed for me peeps, I think this is a better idea for my dad as at least he will get to enjoy it rather than swearing at parts in a garage for many years to come. Thanks for reading. Si
  16. So are these turbos a good idea for replacing stock tubbies as they are a grand cheaper than the ones from MrT and I am talking just about parts not fiiting.
  17. Their slowly getting better ..
  18. As standard turbos from Mr T are £3K are these a good alternative for just replacing for BPU levels.
  19. I think Dell do a 20" would have to check though.
  20. I always wanted a bike powered Mini, ( was my first car though a 997cc ).
  21. Don't know if this will help but worth a nosey. http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/resources/SUPRA_MKIV/WIPER_WASHER_SYSTEM.PDF Last couple of pages has wiring diagram.
