  1. Hi gents went out in the supra the other day and noticed strange noise. Only thing I can think it sounds like, is it is trying to suck up water like a strange fluttery sound?? Only does it about 2800 to 3500 rpm at full throttle doesn't do it at half throttle and goes away on the change over to the second tubby? Any ideas men? Cheers
  2. Class. Like it. They dont have to fix it just come round in that van would cheer me up.
  3. Sorry for the million questions but also noticed the other day the air con was blowing warmish air, now someone said I'd just probably need a re-gas thought cool not to bad but the revs stilled picked up when I turned it on. Pushed the auto button the other day noticed the air con came on but revs didn't pick up is this just because it has no gas so pump wont start up or is their a more sinister problem hope not but knowing my luck cheers again and again and again.
  4. Damn missed your post mate just ordered the bar from QSD and the frame from toyota, should be here wednesday. Just tried to have another look cant see much but the bar isn't completely squashed just the side closest to radiator drivers side, has been pushed back and has bent the frame 52021. So hopefully wont need any chassis repair just need the parts and the rain to stop.
  5. Yes need new one of them but also 52021 which has squashed back on one side this I am told bolts to the chassis rail which is why I am scared? My bro was out there when I had the head light out today he seems to think it didnt look bent just scared I have damaged the ends where it bolts on? But many thaks turbo brett big help I am such a newb.
  6. Its the big chunky metal bit by the looks which is directly under the frame work for the lights. Basically it has squashed back on one side.
  7. Would it have been noticed in the M.o.T. I am scared now wanna go and take the bumper off now and find out but dont wanna know if its bad .
  8. So if the chassis rail is bent is it game over It wasn't a high speed bump.?
  9. Cool tony and tracey wow thats super generous mate thanks where abouts are you mate I am based near Manchester ?
  10. Cant tell properly looks like it has squashed round it when I took the light out today its only on drivers side ?
  11. Sorry mate not explained myself properly meant the chassis rails what if that is slightly damaged will that be repairable? Will deffo get a new crash bar.
  12. Not to sound thick mate what happens if it is slightly damaged ? can it be repaired? cheers.
  13. Hi Gentleman, Iam new to the sight will do a proper introduction when my cars ready . My name is Bob if you didn't guess . I have a 93 jspec tt. Now I had a bump in my Supra a couple of years back now I had It fixed but on the cheap money problems then and that. So the front bumper was never perfect. I have managed to get a second hand one and looks sweet. Went to look how long it would sought of take, noticed the reinforcement bar was pushed back onto what I guess is the front chassis this is only on the drivers side. So where the 4 plastic false screw things at the top of the bumper under the rubber attach the bumper dont line up properly and the place that bodged it just drilled holes through the bumper and frame and screwed it down!?!?!. So my question is are the crash reinforcement bars hard to take off when dinked and are they expensive to replace??. Am I best just following the bodge I would prefer to do the job properly but dont wanna be stuck with no front bumper? Sorry for the essay before the introduction hope you guys can help cheers very much. Bob
