I have a place near Torrox, due south of Competa. It is a beautiful area although on the edge of the mountains, Competa can be very cold in the Winter. Frigiliana is beautiful and Nerja is a great town. I guess you are aware of the licensing requirements if you are doing holiday lets less than three months?

Mine are triple split and they did an excellent job. They are Planet Wheels in Walters Ash. I act for four local garages and all of them recommended them.

Typically hospital cleaning staff, inhouse or outsourced would do a deep clean taking maybe a day, scrubbing, lots of elbow grease, to make it free of obvious dirt, that would be the deep clean. We would then complete a bio-decontamination which killed any pathogens, which took maybe three hours. Then the ward would be re-populated. Military have a similar process, we never broke into that market, it was dominated by a competitor.
-
I used to own a biodecontamination business that decontaminated hospital wards using a mist of hydrogen peroxide and silver. It was highly effective against MRSA C Diff norovirus and the like, and would have dealt with this virus too. Our problem was that the ward had to be vacated by all patients and decanted into another ward for up to a day. Given the pressure on bed space that wouldn't be practical at the moment. UV light can also be effective and has the advantage of being capable of working while patients are in their beds. However our mist would cling to any surface, from floor to ceiling, under beds, in cupboards and everywhere in an enclosed space. The main disadvantage of UV is that it only decontaminates in line of sight, like a torch at night, so to be effective you have to keep moving the line of sight and it would never be sure to get to hidden areas where pathogens best like to accumulate, like on bed rails and under beds. So UV has a place in all of this but it has limitations.

Do you do the carbon spoiler and sell it without the legs?

Every aspect of Government support is easily accessible from HMRC and gov.uk websites and they are promoting them on Facebook feeds too, a simple Google search identifies them in seconds. As an accountant and an employer I subscribe to a Government email service that sends update emails up to 100 times a day. Most are irrelevant to any one business or individual but you can pick and choose the ones you want to read. The link is https://www.gov.uk/email-signup?link=/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response The front page for access to all Government based coronavirus information, including the financial support, is https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Three days in a row our local Sainsburys has stocked up overnight and opened at 8.00 with the first hour reserved for the elderly and frail. Each day the shelves have been empty by 9.00 with hordes of "younger" people barging in. On day three they have brought in security (no disrespect, but well-meaning people on minimum wage in a cheap uniform), which didn't help. I suggested arming the security staff, I suspect you would only have to shoot a few of these selfish wankers to put a stop to it, they might not even die although if they did they probably wouldn't be missed. And this is in so called sophisticated Marlow in leafy south Buckinghamshire

A bit vague but there was a beautiful yellow Supra parked up on the main road in Naphill. I didn't get a chance to see a number plate but the colour was stunning and the car looked immaculate. I was in my dirty red Supra on my way to get the wheels refurbished.

There is no import VAT or duty on any purchases within the EU, as long as they are customs cleared into the EU country of origin

My experience with Hidden Performance Ltd. (HP2 Ltd.)
scorling replied to ben_harmer32's topic in Off Topic
Worth a try but my experience is that they will only suspend the striking off if there are formal court proceedings in place. I have tried before when I had a recently issued CCJ against the company, and they still had it struck off. That did give me the prospect of then taking action against the Directors but the sums and time involved weren't worth the bother -

It is speculation and wrong. HMRC would never seek a compulsory striking off. You talk about a wind(ing) up petition, there is no evidence of any such action on the London Gazette. The first striking off action would have been because of the late filing of their first Confirmation Statement. Once that was filed the action was discontinued. Now they are three months late filing their accounts so a new striking off action has been started. With regards to your earlier comment, all companies have to file their accounts no later than 21 months after their incorporation date. Changing the accounting reference date can never extend that deadline. If they file their accounts and pay the late filing penalty, the striking off process will again be discontinued. All this proves is I have too much time on my hands and that their company administration looks as good as their customer service. If the experience of the OP is commonplace, the Directors might be best advised to let the company slide away by not filing any accounts. Nothing will stop them from starting again. -
I have a Ridox wide body and a TRD spoiler. I have a Stormforce cover that I used for one Winter and haven't used it since. Naturally I'm not recommending it, but if despite the other comments you still want it you are welcome to it for free.

That looks worth the wait, congratulations, although I agree with you about the spoiler

Thank you for your thoughts. The 120 amp fuse had blown and a replacement is on its way. What caused it to blow will be the next challenge I guess and I will look out for earthing problems

For the first time in fifteen years of Supra ownership I am asking for help because it wont start. I fitted a new battery a couple of months ago and drove it for several weeks without any problem. I have been away for the last month, tried to start it and all is dead, apart from the light showing the door is open. The battery isn't fully charged, but it is not flat. I have tried jumping it and there is no sign of life. I have put the battery on trickle charge over night just to see if that makes a difference. After that might I be looking at fuses? Or I wonder if the alarm may be causing a problem, although that's me just floundering!

No point in spending money on a lawyer on top of lost earnings. The administrators will contact you and all creditors in due course and you will make your claim. It is easy to do, just fill in the form and attach copies of unpaid invoices. It's an entirely functional process and there is no shortcut to you getting paid ahead of any other creditor. If they went into administration suddenly and without any warning or rumours, the likelihood is that it has been planned for some time and may have been done to protect the interests of the owners ahead of those of the creditors. Have you noticed, for example, if recently they have taken longer than usual to settle your invoices? Sadly administrators sometimes act in collusion with owners to facilitate this, to the point of allowing the owners to buy out certain assets from the failing company so they can start again. On behalf of the owners the administrators will prepare an initial report that will outline the circumstances of the administration and give a first idea as to the prospects of unsecured creditors (that is you and all other suppliers of goods and services) getting any money after collecting all known assets and paying the administrators fees and secured creditors such as any bank finance. That will be the first insight as to what, if any, of your debt is going to be paid. They will also call a meeting of the creditors which you will be entitled to attend, although it doesn't usually achieve much, when a liquidator will be appointed if it is evident that the company is insolvent. The liquidator will probably be the administrators although the creditors can, and occasionally do, vote for another liquidator. Assume you have lost the lot, because that is the most likely scenario, and you may be surprised and get some of it back at some point in the distant future. If you are VAT registered and have account for VAT on an accruals basis you will be entitled to recover that VAT. Bad luck. Not only have you probably lost a big chunk of money but you have to find a new customer to replace the work you have lost. Not a great place to be sadly.

I sold a set of these a few years ago in a considerably worse condition than these. I got no interest here, but sold them on ebay for £450

About 60,000 km in nine years but one year I did no more than the five mile drive each way to the MOT station. I intend to use it as much as possible this year.
-
For the ninth year since importing my car it has sailed through the MOT with no advisories. One oil change and I've clocked up the first 1,000 miles of the Spring without incident after it has spent five months unused on the drive. All thoughts of selling it are dismissed for another year. Has there ever been such a low maintenance high performance car with such ridiculous reliability?

Its turned up in Dublin! Whats not to believe, a response to my enquiry hi, my name is sandra o'sullivan,i am the seller of the supra. it is good condition, the interior and exterior look great,no need for additional repairs, all in perfect working order and has 184,800 total miles. it was drived by my ex-husband. after divorce, i had to move out and now i am living with my parents in dublin - ireland the moment they are the only ones i can rely on. i try not to think about the value of them now because i'm pressed and need the equivalent of £1,000. the car is here with me but due to the fact that i am very busy with my job and don’t stay too much at home, i want to use the services provided of amazon uk for the safety of both of us - also i had a nice experience with them. Using their services the vehicle will be delivered to your shipping address in 5-7 working days, you has 5 days from the time receive the car to inspect it and decide if want to keep or not, along with the vehicle, you will receive all it's papers and if by any reason, you won't be satisfied with the car, can return it on my exepnse. if you're interested in purchasing it, just reply with your full name, address including the postal code and phone number, so i can notify amazon and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. ps. i agree to support the transportation charges kind regards!

The best car is in the garage

Perhaps it was on its way to High Wycombe? Look out for the £25,000, 40,000 mile one careful owner ad in the next couple of weeks. I know nothing about write offs but if that is a cat B, I cannot imagine what a cat A looks like
