  1. So dangergerous do you think it will all be ok? I can get this ecu for about £250-£300
  2. Peejay thanks for pointing that out. Sorry guys I should of said the Aristo. Im confused one person is saying the MINES is a plug in and play for the delimit and someone else is saying it isnt. It has been pointed out that a wire does need to go from the ecu to the TRAC ecu as thats what controls the delimit. The Blitz Access ecu has a blue wire that connects to this ecu but the mines has no wire running from it. Why is that? does it do the same as the Blitz? Blitz and MINES ecus are very cheap from the US if you can find them.
  3. Thanks for your help guys much appreciated!. So are you saying that if I buy a MINES ECU with 2JZ-GT on it then it is definately for the twin turbo model. Someone advised me that for the delimit part to work it has to have a wire connected from the ecu to the TRAC ecu is this correct? Is it easy to do?there is no wire comming out of the MINES ecu to do this like the Blitz. Any help? does anyone have a MINES ecu here???
  4. Looking at buying a MINES ECU for my car and I know the engine is a 2JZ-GTE however the bloke im buying the ecu off only has 2JZ-GT stamped on the ecu. I said this was for a non turbo model but he said no its for a turbo model for some reason on the ecu they leave the E off for some reason. Is this true or is he just blagging me so I buy it? thanks
  5. Ive been told that certian features will stop working like air con? I supose theres only one way to find out
  6. Peejay you say Removes speed cut when connected up to TRAC ECU with a relay. What does this mean? Will the car be delimited when you plug the ecu in or do you have to do extra mods? Its actually quite handy you say you had this ecu in your car as you can tell me your honest opinions of it ie did you notice a difference and did it do everything people say they do or was extra work needed as said above. Would really like to hear from you on this. thanks
  7. Peejay very interested do you have his contact details. thanks
  8. Hi was just wondering would a Blitz Access Ecu for the Supra TT work on the Aristo JZS147? I have been told the ECUs are car specific however Ive heard of people plugging in standard Supra ECUs into the Aristo and they have worked and made them feel more aggressive however I cant remember if they had any problems with dash lights or engine management etc. I know both cars have the same engine but the wiring and sensors are different so would it still remove fuel cut? Delimit the car? Increase boost/power I look forward to your help guys.
  9. Daman sorry if i sound really dumb but have I got this right. Iam new to this site but Iam going to become a paid member. The tickets are £14 and the food and drink is an additional £15. I was planning on bringing 2 friends (they are not and wont be paid supra members). And they would both pay £29 each. Am I allowed to do this or I see something about I can only bring 1 friend who is a non paid member? thanks
  10. Thanks for that. Would I park the Aristo with you guys or to one side? Also if he bought a ticket to be part of the camping/food drink with you guys where would he park his skyline? thanks
  11. Daman is it ok for me to bring my Aristo as it shares the supra engine and my mate would like to come along and bring his skyline. Is that ok? I am aware we have to park to one side. Do we still camp with you guys or do we have to go somewhere else?. We had a great time last year with you guys so we are looking forward in joining in with the fun again this year
  12. Might try and bring the Aristo down. Where do you guys usually meet theres so many cars down there
  13. Is there anyone out there that has and auto and had theres on the rollers? Peejay you mention what needs to be done, can it be done in drive or does it have to be done in a low gear? Ive heard they have to lock it in 3rd or something. I have seen it done Thor Racing have rolling roaded DangerousBrains Aristo at JAE last year.
  14. Hi I have an Auto Aristo and want to have it mapped or just a power run. I know there are loads of auto supras out there and they are very similar so does anyone know where i can go to get this done in the essex or london area or do i have to travel far away? I looked at TDI in thurrock and they totally big themselves up on the website and charge £100 an hour and then said they cant even RR an auto. I said they couldnt be that good then as I know it can be done.
  15. cheers guys il try and relay that back. So if a 1 pot has a piston either side of the pad and a 4 pot has 2 either side of the pad then how many does a 2 pot have either side? Im on your side guys but his gona argue that
  16. I have the JZS147. Could anyone explain in more detail about the 1 pot caliper thing as im going to need a detailed answer to convince him.
  17. Hi Firstly would just like to say hi im new to the club and met a few of you at last years JAE and you seemed a good bunch. Basically I have an Aristo but with the supra J-spec brakes. Apparently there both the same and ive been advised that they are 2 pot on the front and 1 pot on the rear. The UK brakes are 4 pot on the front and 2 pot on the rear. When I said this to a friend and a mechanic they said theres no such thing as a 1 pot calliper. He said if you have a pot either side of the brake pad then its a 2 pot calliper. If you have a pot on 1 side of the calliper then it wouldnt stop the car. Can someone please explain what the exact set up is and his ideas so that I can go back and explain if hes right or not. thanks
