for sale HKS T6 SLD (Speed Limit Defencer)-Auto Supra only
EssexBoy replied to EssexBoy's topic in Parts for Sale
I only have it in hard copy. Il think of something and when Il do il post it up. My HKS T6 is brand new boxed and has jap instructions but I was able to locate a full set of English instructions to wire for the supra and the Aristo as each car has different wiring for the ECU and the TRC ECU. -
You try and help people on these sites, unfortunately you get the smart a**es who try and mess it up for others. If it costs pretty much £50 from Nengun as the link states and I can get them for £47 delivered to your house how am I making a loss if I can buy them cheaper!!???lol Im saving you guys £3. No worries il leave the group buy then.

EssexBoy replied to EssexBoy's topic in Parts for Sale
Yes oh really. I have the instructions infront of me. This is not some cheapo delimiter with 1 or 2 wires. This is by HKS a proper delimiter and has about 20 wires which connect to the ECU and the Traction control ecu. -

Hi I have a brand new in box HKS T6 SLD (Speed limit Defencer) with full English instructions to go with this. This is not universal it is specifically for the Auto Supra and MK1 Aristo only! This is the proper way to delimit your car as it connects to all the wheel sensors, traction control sensor, cruise control and so on. The idea of fitting this is so that you can properly delimit your car and retain the traction control option and cruise control etc. £80 delivered -
Hi I have a brand new still in box Greddy BCC. This is used for Supras who want to remove their boost cut in order to remove boost levels, and increase their boost to 1 bar and over. £35 delivered

Got mine today, but no wrist bands for the drink and bbq. whats happening about those?

The NGK he suggested were the BK series I think and were iridium also. He was saying something about the size of the electrode or something is smaller on the IK series and therefore can have effects after a period of use like someone has stated. Does this sound correct or still just person preference?
-
I was going to use the Denso IK22 as im running BPU but then a tunner who does alot of supra tunning said not to use them and to go with the NGK equivilant of the IK22. This was something to so with the IK22s having a very small tip and the smallest amount of soot on them will effect the cars performance whereas the NGK have a bigger tip and stronger spark. Can I have your tried and tested opinions on what plug to go for thanks

Any ideas when we will be receiving our tickets and wristbands through the post? Its only 3 weeks away now.

Daman unfortunately im not that technical when it comes to things like this. As far as I was aware they are all the same when bought new. Ive heard if you have made extra mods then it can be sent back and re-adjusted but I am unaware of the mapping history of this ecu. All I know is this will turn your car into an animal!!!

As title says I have a Blitz Access Ecu forsale. If you dont know the details please find some below On turbo charged engines, the most common way of increasing power is to increase the boost pressure. This increases the amount of air going into the engine, and providing there is sufficient fuel to accompany the boost pressure, the resultant charge is much denser and provides more power. Standard Engine Management systems have built in boost limits, which turn the fuel injectors off if the boost rises a certain amount over standard. To remove the boost limit, an upgraded ECU needs to be fitted. This will usually allow a 30-40% increase in boost pressure with corrected fuelling for the increased boost. Increasing the boost without increasing the fuelling will cause the engine to run lean, which can be fatal for the engine. The Blitz Access computer does not rely on fooling the ECU with external clamping circuits or making sensors read differently, it properly re-programs the factory limits, and all the fuelling is adjusted accordingly. The Boost limits are raised, the speed limits are removed, the rev-limiters are raised, the timing maps optimised, and the fuelling maps are adjusted to cope with higher boost. Costs about 800 brand new i have been told. These are now discontinued and are very hard to get hold of Bargin price of £350 inc postage!!!

Sorry guys ive replied without even thinking Ive got a Blitz Access Ecu for sale which is pretty much the same as MINES but in my opinion better as its Blitz
-
My answer to you jake is you obviously dont have one fitted. The ecu is a pre mapped ecu that makes the car faster and more aggressive through increasing boost levels fueling and timing. If you look at the full details of what a MINES ecu does then you will see for yourself its a bargin at that price
-
The MINES ECU raises the revlimiter to about 8500RPM, increases boost and removes fuel cut/boost cut and removes the speed limiter. Gives the car another 40bhp I have one for sale £350 ono inc postage

Where do i stand on letting people test drive my car?
EssexBoy replied to CardiffSupra's topic in Supra Chat
Exactly that is what I said. Chris Wilson was absolutley correct in what he says as well which is similar to mine and that motor traders have full cover on any car as they are in and out of different cars everyday and need full cover. -

I think I need to fill you guys in as Im a director in insurance. If someone turns up and says they are fully comp yes they are.....to drive there car. If they take your car for a spin and crash it they are only covered 3rd party on someone elses car. It makes me laugh when you see these people selling a car and they say the car is no longer insured so if you want to drive it they have to bring proof of there insurance. WRONG! If the car is not insured by the owner there is no insurance in place and therefore if the guy has a crash there is no insurance in place and nothing will be paid out! Your best bet is what the others have said you drive the car and see what they think as they could be wasting your time. If they pull out the money or come back and say look ive got the money here just want to drive it myself to make sure then atleast it looks more genuine as they have the money to hand. If you have any other insurance questions just ask. There seems to be this belief that fully comp means to drive any car when it doesnt so beware. The only time this is correct is for people who take out special insurance like mechanics who have to drive other peoples cars all the time. -
Daman I understand all I was thinking is the tent is the same size whether 2 or 3 people sleep in it. I appreciate the rules however im not quite sure what would happen if 1 person cant camp with us. They said they will buy food and drink from the bar on the day as we did last year, so even though the club is funding it there not actually loosing out as like I said the tent will be the same whether 2 or 3 people sleep in it and will cause problems if he cant sleep with us. Can an exception be made on this principle?

Daman I have spoken to my friends and I was wondering if Iam allowed to do this. Iam a paid club member but I was going to bring 2 friends. We was all going to pay £14 each and I was going to pay the additional £15 for food. Last year we came over to the stand with DangerousBrain and his wife as we were with the Aristo club but there is no club this year. Last year we were not members at all so we all paid £1 per drink at the bar. Are they allowed to do that again this year? thanks
