Have you had a look in machine mart mate? if i were you i would pay a little bit more and get a good quality jack which has a decent reach on it, same with the axle stands it is for your safety at the end of the day.

What sort of insurance are you paying if you dont mind me asking mate? as i am 25 and it is going to cost me £980 for the na.

I would say you need to buy a switch like the ones you use for the rear fog light, then you will need to run a wire for the earth to the switch, then run a switched live wire to the switch and then run a wire from the switch to the live of the motor which controls the spoiler, then run a ground wire to the motor. Hopefully this should work.

Yeah it does, any import that doesnt have a uk equivalent is tested this way. If the mot centre try to say it doesnt just tell them to have a look in their vosa hand book and it is all in there.

Was the na available as a uk spec or was it just the tt? if it wasn't then there is no uk equivalent to compare so it would only need to pass a fast idle test, this is how my old starlet gt turbo used to pass with decat.

I am not sure of companies down south but if you look in the yellow pages or give 118 118 a call and ask them they should be able to point you in the right direction.

That is sh*it mate, but i am sure the insurance company can not take your car until they have paid you out the money for it, as you still own it. I would call one of them specialist vehicle solicitors places and explain what has happend and see what they say. Good luck and i hope they dont write your supe off.

I really like that bronze one but as people are saying it is a bit pricey for a N/A, and if they deffo have merged into one i wont even waste 200 miles of petrol, seen a nice 98 spec one on pistonheads which i have emailed the seller about to see if he fancies a swap with my ek9, if not i will just hang on till it is sold and get one. Thanks for everyones advice.

I thought it was just the wrc in keighley that was asociated with KTC? i bought my old starlet gt from the one in bradford a few years ago and it was spot on and i know a lot of other starlet owners who have bought from there with no problems. I wonder if the original people have sold out to KTC then? Jonah yours looks very nice mate but it is a bit too high miles and you are quiet a way from me.

Hey i am thinking about going to have a look at this supra at wrc sales in bradford, was just wanting peoples opinoins on whether they think it is worth the money ect. Would it not be easier to remove the control unit from where you put it and press the button to watch it back? i am sure it would only take 5-1o minutes to do then your mind would be at rest.

Only met Lew the other weekend at the turners weekend and seemed such a nice lad, he never shut up about his supra and how he wanted to compete in the sound off competitions, such a waste life, R.I.P mate. Japnortheast are having a memorial on sunday night if anyone wants to come and pay their respects, it is at Gilesgate where the new B&Q is in durham at about 19.30 i am sure someone who knows more will post up better details.

Yeah i know what you mean but they are 2 completely different cars, the civic you need to be in vtec all the time to get the best out of it as they have very little torque lol. I would love a manual but unfortunatly the aero's only come in auto

Hello everyone i am thinking of getting a N/A aero top in a few months time after i get a bit of use out of my EK9. I have always loved supras and since turning 25 i think my insurance shouldn't be too bad now, eventually i hope to move up to a TT.
