  1. The later 3 spoke Glanza wheel is the same basic wheel as the 3 spoke facelift Supra, IS200, gen7 celica, mr2 etc. It can also be found in some Aristos, Rav 4s, Yaris, Corolla, and non Glanza Starlets. They're a very nice wheel.
  2. I threw a perfect condition one in the bin 6 years ago as I couldn't even give it away on here
  3. 2005 Volvo s60 d5 (Euro 3) Brilliant daily drivers. Extremely well built and reliable, great fuel economy, like driving an armchair. Only downside is its turning circle likely rivals most oil tankers.
  4. On the plus side, at least the cars are finally starting to get the recognition that we know they have always deserved.
  5. Actually, the ability of our planet to sustain plant/animal life will very much depend on us controlljng the size of the human population, and how it moves. Freedom of movement (EU and otherwise) creates a huge demand for flights goods etc which cause global warming. Mass movements of people causes the destruction of our irreplaceable green field, brown field and forest habitats, destroying our biodiversity and removing the very things which create the oxygen which allows us to live. Technology allows us to communicate with people all over the planet, and to see the natural wonder of the planet. We do not need to see it all first hand, amd we cetrainly dont want to be encouraging mass migrations.
  6. I remember when Datsun 240z's were viewed in the same light as Ford Capris - they were almost embarassing (and i had 2 Capris). 240zs can sell for upwards of £60k now (or £200k for the hakosuka engined examples). UK values will increase as supply dwindles, though I doubt they will ever have the same value here as Japanese and US markets.
  7. Wonder if these fit? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F191129228721
  8. Would be worth looking into the availability of Soarer items, maybe sc430 items would work too?
  9. With the issues sorted, I dont think youd be far off £25k
  10. *my caveat being we are likely on the verge of another global recession, which may have a significant impact on the prices of relatively affordable tangible commodities.
  11. They aren't likely to be a good investment, if you're expecting some sort of financial gain. Your insurance, running costs, maintenance etc will likely cost in excess of any gains via appreciation. On the plus side you can't drive bitcoins, and at least you're likely to have something left by the end of it. Unless you crash your Supra, in which case the crypto-currency analogy is spot on However, as a bit of fun and a hobby, it will be far easier on the pocket than many other cars.
  12. Probably a good buy. Doubt you'll actually make any money on it, tax, insurance and servicing will likely eat any appreciation in value, but you've probably bought the most desirable spec of car outside of a lhd hardtop tt6. Looks like a very nice car
  13. I wonder how many ex owners are pining for thwir cars again after watching that? Certainly makes me want to get mine back on the road again.
  14. They do have some unique models, their facelift cars have pre-facelift interiors, and they got the VVTi NA Supras.
  15. The modified mk5s seem to have a similar silhouette to modified FD RX7s
  16. Was also very happy with Torque GT, and have heard nothing but good things about Harlow.
  17. The first couple of iterations of the Supra were little more than Celicas with bigger engines and slightly different bodgwork. I guess the new Supra does a similar thing but with a different brands car. Its actually growing on me quite a lot, though a new set of wheels and some custom interior bits would be necessary for me. Seems to be getting some very good reviews on its handling, and im sure the straight line performance is more than adequate for our roads.
  18. Some designs could offer greater resistance and poorer flow than others, which would generate much more heat in the manifold. Presumably increasing the diameter and reducing the angle of the downpipe after the turbo would also net a reduction in EGT, further decreasing engine bay temps? You would also gain a faster spooling turbo and a little more power I would have thought.
  19. Do you still have a full set of these?
