I dont think turbo ones will depreciate much now, given the value of them in there component parts. (ie, a good TT engine and full get rag conversion would be worth circa £4-5k) -
A petrol fuel system to support a big single can cost almost £2k. I'd be tempted to run log on high boost, and have the stock fuel system in place as backup, with a low boost setting. The log components to support big boost are readily available, as most log conversions are fitted to far larger engines than 2JZs.

Personally I'd avoid any import traders from High Wycombe area, seems to be becoming the new Bradford/Keighley Plus, just look at the eBay advert. So many things point to a dodgy trader

My local place is £65 full geo check and setup, plus any extra labour for seized parts etc. Looking at those, I'd guess you're either: A) running a bit too much negative camber, and have worn the tyres down well past the legal limit (with no external factors) B) running too much camber, and your tyre pressures are too high. (though the fairly consistent wear across much of the tyre doesn't lend itself to that scenario) Only going from my own experience, I'm sure you're geo check will reveal all
