to be honest i dont know as it was on the car when I bought it. (Will have a look when it stops snowing) They are old gauges so maybe there a bit out? It's got an alloy radiator and front mount intercooler too, which I would think would keep the temp right down??

Hello, Can someone tell me what a normal water temperature would be, normal driving and abusive driving in degrees centigrade?? I have a feeling mine is a bit high.. it has read 135 at one point. Normal driving is 100ish. The standard temperature guage looks normal. Its a tt nearly bpu.

The sites are supposed to be checked for viruses and things but there's no reason why one cant slip through. None of the downloads were finished before it started this problem. I'm using AVG as the anti-virus, malwarebytes, cc cleaner and comodo firewall.... I think its heading in the direction of a total wipe and re-install

lol. Not sure about the internet explorer as it goes slow even if internet explorer isn't on - unless you mean I have to uninstall it? Installshield was another process using alot on taskbar but i ended that before print screening. Hasn't made any difference though. I tried to do a repair install of vista but half way through it come up with an error saying there was a file missing and was unable to continue. But it was the same copy I installed vista on my laptop originally...

Yes, I am running vista home premium. I took the ram out earlier incase it was a faulty RAM stick, tried them 1 at a time. I was downloading a few things with utorrent. There's not many programs in add/remove, I haven't got many programs. Few months ago I had a hard drive die on me and wouldn't boot so I had to take the hard drive out and use it as an external h/d to get my files back, so I'm well backed up as I could of lost 100's personal photo's and important documents. Could it be that what ever made the 1st hard drive to pack up is making this one pack up, CPU or RAM or something? explorer.exe had been crashing every now and then when I opened the downloaded folder in my documents but only for a few seconds and then worked fine...

Hello Everyone. Any computer wizz's able to help me at all? I've got a acer aspire laptop and the other night I was downloading a few things had a video on and a few other bits a pieces, so it was working pretty hard. Then all of a sudden the computer crashed, completly stopped, nothing worked at all even the mouse. So I held the power button and restarted it. Ever since then it goes REALLY slow and explorer.exe keeps crashing. I also have those gauges on the sidebar and the RAM gauge never goes lower than 56% even when I'm not doing anything?? I've done Registry cleaners, virus scanner's, c drive check. Alot of programs wont install aswell. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated, I really dont want to do a format.... but if I have to I have to

I got his reg before I got back in my car, (just in case) lol. Turns out he had just come out of prison for beating up his girlfriend and was on probation (I think thats it) and where the accident happened was on the same road as where his ex-girlfriend lives, so he was allowed there as part of his probation. So he's going to jail for that at least. He was being reasonable after saying it was my fault, saying we'll park up safe and change details. No I'm with Adrian Flux. Not worth claiming if its only a bumper if I will loose my no claims. Just hope there's no chassis damage. Cant believe how much damage it done to his car and how little it done to mine.

Went for a drive earlier and slowed for a speed bump and saw a car behind me only just stop before hitting me, didnt think much of it and carried on untill the next speed bump. Again slowed down for that bump and just as I was going over it thud, the car behind me hits me. I get out and walk to him and he tries to blame me, I said it was your fault and I want your details. So he said ok pull up somewhere safe and we'll exchange details. As I pull up he drives off. I follow him and as I was following him he hit a curb and burst his tyre and then I rang my mate to ring the police and believe it or not as I was speaking to my mate it turned out he was in front of the car, so his mrs rang the police and he stopped in front of the car to stop him. I pulled up behind and went to his window and asked why did you drive off? He said he wanted to find somewhere safe to park and that he wanted to park somewhere safe so I said ok follow my mate. So we took him to a closed golf club car park. I rang my dad and told him about it and he came down. He was oblviously drunk and drugged. As we were inspecting the damage on my car he drives off again. Dad followed him to a park where he dumped the car and run off in the park. That is where I caught up when the police was all ready there. Turns out he was over the limit with alcohol no insurance and no license and had just come out of prison and was on probation and wasn't supposed to be where he was. All he is getting charged with is drink driving. Just glad my boy wasn't in the car at the time!! His car has a knackered bumper, burst radiator and the front end was pushed in a little. All I can see on mine was a few pressure cracks and a few scuffs. Do you think there will be much damage behind the bumper? How do I claim to the non insured drivers thing? Will I loose my no claims if I go through my insurance company. I'm not expecting to get any money from him.
