  1. Rang Sumo power today and they said they need to know the exact make of my coilovers and any part numbers that might be on them so that he can ring HKS to find out the exact amount of pressue thats needed. So hopefully he will ring back tomorrow and be able to do it for me. Went to kwik fit to put 50psi in just to stop it knocking but they didnt want to take the wheels off saying that my car was too low. Chris I would love to be able to take a trip to you for you to have a tinker with the geo also on my car, but you are a bit too far from me and I really haven't got the money to take that trip at the moment.
  2. Hello, Because I'm an idiot I accidently let all the gas out of one of my coilovers. I rang kwik fit as they do nitrogen tyre inflation and asked if they would do it for me and he said he wont do it for me but I am more than welcome to use the machine myself. The question is... can I simply pump it full of nitrogen like a tyre and everything will be ok? Also what pressure? I was going to get a tyre pressure gauge and check the other side and match it? I am thinking it will all be fine but as I'm not sure I just wanted clarification from someone with half a brain. Thanks alot for any help.
  3. I find chompsms very good IMO, makes texting like the iphone. Mabilo ringtones is quite good for free ringtones. antivirus is supposed to be good. I've got it but not quite sure if it does what it says it does. premotedroid is good fun when someones using your laptop. Allows you to use your phone as a mouse and keyboard. save mms for saving photos from an mms. urbanspoon for looking at local resturants. If you've got young kids, toddler lock is the best, or touch! 4kids is quite good too.

    Greddy SLD

Excellent, Thanks very much. Searched for a thread like that too.
  5. Hello, can someone with half a brain please correct me if I'm wrong. I've bought a Greddy Speed cut defender and I've been researching how to fit it. http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/809.pdf http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35919 Using the 2 links I'm guessing... Red wire from SLD goes to Pin No (E10) 1 Black wire from SLD goes to Pin No (E9) 79 or 80 Green wire from SLD goes to Pin No (E10) 2 (cut it two, to ECU side) White wire from SLD goes to Pin No (E10) 2 (Loom side) Does that sound right, also does it matter what ground wire to use? Thanks in advance
  6. Will be a few weeks/months before I'll get time, but I'll let you know if your interested. Need to change the clutch, stiffen up the suspension first.
  7. Hello, After deciding I wanted a track day car rather that use the sup about a year ago, I finally got one today. Well the old man got it for me through his 'cars wanted' advert. Its a 4wd Toyota celica 2.0ltr, I know its not the fastest as its non turbo, but I think its a good starting point. Taxed till the end of the month and little MOT. Tiny bit of rust on an arch and a slipping clutch. £150! What do you guys think... good track day car?

  9. Hello, Fathers day soon and my present is to get the front end of my car sprayed I'm thinking... Get the splitter repaired and sprayed black, Bonnet sprayed black (Currently Carbon Fibre) and obviously front bumper. What do you think? The main question is, How would you go about spraying the bonnet, would it be treated like plastic? (Plastic primmer then base?) or is there something else needed? My sprayer has never sprayed carbon fibre, so he's not too sure.

    delimiter

Cheers Thanks, that would be great I tried emailing someone that sells cheap combined delimiter and speedo converters, as a cheap one will do for delimiting but he didnt know what wires just do the delimiting?? If I can get a cheap one from here I might do that if I can. Cheers

    delimiter

Hello, I need just a delimiter and not a combined delimiter and speed converter. Any ideas? I've been looking around but all I find is combined. Thanks in advance
  13. Me old fella done it for me in the end. He welded the middle to build it up like you just suggested and put a reverse thread locking wheel nut remover on it. Brilliant idea, I would never of thought of it. Tried for hours with a hammer and chisle with no luck. Cheers for the advise though!
  14. I shall be doing this tomorrow, never thought of it like that
  15. Radiator is pretty much new which is why I dont understand it getting so hot. Intercooler is pretty old though. The temp gauge I believe is before the turbos.
  16. Hello, I'm tempted to take my car for a track day soon, but I'm a little worried about the temperature it reaches sometimes. The standard gauge is always in the middle but my hks water temp gauge goes to 120degrees and this morning the egt touched 900degrees which was a bit worrying. I'm bpu, intercooler and uprated alloy radiator. Any ideas? Intercooler looks a little old.
  17. Hello, I've got a Corsa with alloys wheel and locking wheel nuts but no locking wheel nut key. Luckily one of the wheels is steel so I can easily get 1 off. Question is... If I get it off, can anyone make a key? The key would nearly be basically a traingle. Its got a sleeve that spins round so hammer and chisle or locking wheel nut remover dont work well. Any help appreciated.
  18. Hello, better late than never... Can anyone tell by these photo's whether these are uk spec turbos or j spec? Cheers
  19. You are not insured on track, but you can get track day insurance. I was there too, didnt see any supras though? Saw enough evos and impreza's!! You too mate, Yeah she'll be coming and my boy. Are you parking in a club stand or normal parking area?
  20. I'll be going this year, mrs went last year and said it was brilliant.
  21. Does anyone know if this will fit a VVTI supra?
