  1. engine mounts look good and the vibration came after I reinstalled a throttle body and manifold but reused the gaskets could it be a problem? maybe it's leaking? can it be a reason of a vibration? It disappears even if I just slightly open the throttle and give a couple rpms not even to 800rpm from underneath of the car I've re-tightened all the bolts I could see can you show me a pic of that subframe bolts? EDIT I forgot to add that at idle RPM fluctuate very little, it's even hardly noticible
  2. Hello guys I have 3 problems with my '97 Supra TT 6sp. 1. on speed over 60 miles/h a steering wheel vibrates a little and with speed it becomes more frequent (wheel alignment is not good cause I changed the ride height + 1" or so and wheels look like \___/ and i think a wheel balance can be kinda wrong ) 2. at idle my car vibrates a little but if i give it a little bit throttle (just couple RPMs) it stops (it started after i removed a throttle body & manifold) 3. and last but worst thing ever which makes me really crazy, even on a little bumpy road I hear knocking sound(it sounds like metal hits metal) from rear & front (it was when I bought my car) it sounds like some bushings are dead but i have checked and they look good I have OHLINS coilovers they don't look like they leak or something please help me guys I think I'm going crazy I really drive my car very rare but when I do it's just terrible

    TTC Boost spike?

I've done 5min TTC (vacuum mod) on my J spec (2.5"-3" TRD Ver. S catback, hks midpipe, otherwise stock) and my car boosted ~ 1 bar without boost controller
  4. my car is J-spec '97 TT(NON VVTi) and it uses 4 wire sensor
  5. Thanks guys for your comments I've just checked my sensor and wiring, I thought my wiring is for 3 wire sensor but I was wrong it has 4 wires but 1 is cutted 3 wires from wideband go to my ecu so I need stock O2 sensor can anyone tell me where can I get one? (JDM '97 Supra TT 6sp. Non-VVTi) Oh and btw will the sensor of US/UK TT work ?
  6. HeY Guys now I'm going to buy WB and need some advice should I connect new WB to the ecu or it's better to get a stock O2 sensor ? (now my wideband sensor is connected instead of stock O2) also my car is JDM and it uses 3 wire O2, where can I get one?
  7. when i open the throttle the pointer of the gauge starts to play, it's going to 10's than returns to 14 and so on I can take a video if it helps
  8. at 9.0 afr shouldn't car smoke? also spark plugs should be smoked, right? here are my spark plugs, when I removed em couple days ago http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/452/img712.th.jpg boost is about 0.7 I cant really tell if it's 0.76 (It's an analog gauge) also at idle AFR is very stable allways at 14.2 but when I'm driving it the pointer sometimes jumps up&down
  9. as I have read here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35940 my A/F ratio should be close to 11.7 at full throttle so isn't 9 crazy rich?
  10. Hello guys Is this oil good for diff?('97 TT 6sp.): http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/8320/img702h.jpg
  11. Hello guys today I was driving around and just noticed that my AFR shows !!! 9 !!! (at full throttle) I have TOMEI AFR gauge(with it's own sensor) so lowest it has is 9 and pointer just falls to it It Idles at 14.2 I checked for boost leaks (visualy only) I checked the piping and bov(HKS SQV(first version)) everything looks normal (i checked connections too) i don't see any smoke at least in rear view mirror (no smoke even while free revving) no buck at all and no scooby sound the only thing i feel is that the car accelerates not as good till 4K rpm's (turbo's are OK) (maybe it's me? ) and at 4K rpm i feel like a punch and it accelerates like crazy I changed plugs to NGK 3330(BCPR7ES)(left gap stock) oh and sometimes i see that AFR gauge pointer jumps (at free revving, sometimes while acceleration, never at idle) should i do diagnostics? have any advice? what should I check? here are TOMEI docs: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/7416/img754.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/7637/img756.jpg it has its own sensor, which is plugged in stock location and stock harness is plugged to it as well as a gauge Oh and btw here are the specs of my car: '97 JDM TT 6 speed MINE'S ECU TRD Ver.S catback TRD air filter in stock airbox both cats in place stock boost (0.7bar) no AFC and no boost controller
  12. i run same tires on 9.5" NP at all
  13. Hi guys so it's second time this happens to me my car just doesnt accelerate as good as usual up to 3000-3500rpm's but after it, it seems to be ok and acceleration is also normal turbos are OK and boost from about 1800-2000 my car is kinda stock it has TRD ver. S catback TRD filter in oem airbox both cats are in place MINE'S ECU what should i look at? i thought it could be fuel, but it feels ok from 3500rpm so it's not gas i think what about reseting ecu? I haven't changed plugs yet, should i look there? or maybe cats? or injectors? (mileage is ~30K miles) help meeeee also I'm going to remove both cats and make restrictor ring as my car is OBD II (1997, NOT VVTI) i think that check light will turn on am i right? or MINE'S ECU helps? also if check light turns on will the ECU go into fail mode?
