  1. Could possibly be the sender unit in the fuel tank, If the fuel pump was replaced which im sure it would have been, the hanger could been put back slightly off set meaning that the sender unit will not read correctly. Im crap at explaining things, (i know what i mean )
  2. Yeah I found that angle grinder a very useful tool lol. Ive given the bay a pressure wash out to remove all the spilt fluids etc, also had half of epping forest lodged in the bay!!!!

  6. No spigot rings dont affect the available amount of thread, they just centralise the wheel on the hub

  11. Are there any of these left, in this group buy. Cheers
  12. Seems a common problem then? Im pretty sure the rubber caps acts as a sort of breather, IIRC they are at a 90degree angle which prevents moisture getting in but allows them to breath so if yours are missing I would assume its allowing moisture to get straight in. I could be wrong tho.....
  13. A true Gentleman, I take my hat off to you And CJ, wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery.
  14. Are you sure it is the actual headlight seal thats the problem, ill fitting bulb connectors that dont seal 100% can also cause this. Sometimes a bit of vasaline around the holder before you push the bulb into the back of the headlight. Whenever I have refurbed headlights in the past I have always used sikaflex to bond them back together, the only trouble is it is next to impossible to get them apart again but never had an issue with them fogging up as far as I know
  15. Decided Im gonna leave them for now as they were working well before i even realised about the chipped fins. And fix them when the time comes if they decide to fail. Cheers
  16. Right here goes to cut a long story short, i had boost issues which I fixed, lots of boosts leaks etc. The car now boosts lovely. Anyway I did a lot of bodywork and gave it a full respray, so the only thing that let it down was the engine bay. So sprayed up various bits and pieces and decided to spruce up the turbo pipes, so i took them off. As the turbos fins were exposed i gave them a close look and on turbo no1 there are 3 of the fins that have chips in them, i managed to get a camera behind turbo 2 and all fins intact ect. So I have a good strong second hand set, but seeing as the current turbos are functioning well do i ignore the damaged first turbo and bolt all the pipe work back up or do i replace with the second hand set? As im limited for time if I did replace I would probably just replace turbo no1, is it possible to just remove no1 or would they have to come off together. THe reason I ask is that its a pig of a job to get them both out so would it be any easier to just remove the front (No 1) turbo, as I would only be swapping this one anyway even if I got them both off. What do you think?
  17. To be honest i dont like that, doesnt look that much like carbon to me, I could be wrong. I more than happy to do it for you but like I said bit of a pikey way around things lol!!! Looking at the link with the supra with the black aero roof, looks terrible so with all that info i would stay stock silver. Your decision buddy
  18. Used 1 bar ristrictor ring, very accurate on my car. £7 posted SOLD
  19. Headlights are a good price for proper facelifts, they wont hang about.
  20. Yeah but you wont be n/a for long tho mate!!!
  21. I have a good set of calipers, brake discs and CW fast road pads if your interested mate. Let me know
  22. You probably already know but there is another actuator at the front of the engine on tubby no.1 which a little bit harder to get to but not impossible, just need a torch and a skinny arm lol
  23. No its easy mate, even for me lol. You can see the actuator when you look in the engine bay at the back at the top, on the drivers side. (thats where my leak was anyway)
  24. Thats the word i was looking for Actuator, thats where the boost pipe had a split where it connects to the actuator at the back of the engine via vsv. Hope you get it fixed mate.
