  1. Welcome to the club mate, hope you can sort the issues relatively easily/cheaply. Ill keep an eye on this thread and see how you progress with it. Fingers crossed
  2. Cheers mate, Russ did mention you could be going, and maybe doing a bit of track time. Would have been good to see a supra on the track
  3. Cheers mate, we both seem to do well at the bhp shows. Really could do with your engine bay!!!! Congratulations to you 2 mate, you won the biggy, best engine bay of the whole show. (A no brainer tho, always gonna win all day long)
  4. Im sure i remember Rob saying that you were there, shame I didnt see you as its always nice to see another supra owner
  5. If you only want the wiper of and not the motor then on the base of the wiper is a plastic cover, slide/lift that up and there is a 10mm nut, undo that then pull the wiper off. You are then left with the rubber, and the big nut that sits under the rubber which is attached to the motor.
  6. In answer to your question, yes the big nut under the rubber needs to be undone which will release the motor.
  7. Cheers for putting that up for me russ, and thanks everyone for your comments. Supras still have it
  8. Depending on what primer you are using. If you are using 2k primer its usually high build so you would key the surface with say a 150 grit paper then 2-3 coats of primer. If rattle can primer you would prob get away with say 220g paper, 3 coats of primer allowing each coat to flash of. Once dry, use wet and dry paper of 400g - 600g until smooth/flat making sure not to sand thru the primer. Then you normal 2 coats of you base then 2-3 coats of clear allow appropriate flash of times between coats. But make sure before you start any painting it is critical that the thing you are painting are thoroughly degreased with a panel wipe (solvent degreasing agent). Most painters are different and do things differently but this is how I would approach doing it
  9. I know what you mean, i went trd but always kept my stock spoiler just incase I changed my mind. But I def do think you should stick with the trd it really suits your car well
  10. Nice one rob great result, bet your over the moon. It now has the total package, ill look forward to seeing it at the bhp show (hopefully wind, rain and dust free this year lol)
  11. definately the trd all the way. Car looks lovely
  12. nice pictures there mate. My personal favourite ever has still got to be the mustang (elenor).
  13. check out hillbillystyle shed clearout sale, he looks to have the parts you require
  14. Its the stock uk spec bonnet vent so any toyota store will sell them
  15. Here are a couple of pics of russ's one at my workshop. There are 2 places where there is a dent and slightly worn thru but no mould etc, still jet black just needs a dust off, but see what you think
  16. Pm The Raven, he will have 1 as he is breaking his engine
  17. jspec brakes were fine on my bpu, but i had chris wilson fast road pads on which were superb. i really didnt need to change to uk spec. So i would advice the fast road pads first before you go to the expense of a totally new brake set up.
  18. Well done mate, but feel sorry for martin. He brought it over the workshop a few times and i must admit its a very clean example especially as he has fixed a few things on it, made me fall in love with red supras again.
  19. I could be wrong but im sure ive heard that engine wise they are unreliable so would advise against
  20. I have a hks silent hi power on my tt and very happy with it
  21. The Raven is breaking an engine and should be able to sell you one
