  1. I fitted a set of bc's last year and I'm very happy with them and we'll priced too.
  2. :wow:Absolutely stunning, now thats an engine bay to be proud of. A real show winner. Well done that man
  3. I must have about 150 pictures from the beginning going through the stages which i will put on a memory stick and give it to you. But yeah has been a bit of a task especially fitting in around working a full time job so working 7 days a week and evenings has broken me lol!! But looking forward to doing all the little bits and getting in up and running, then you can enjoy tt power again!!!
  4. Last few I promise!!! have got loads more but dont want to bore you, and you get the general idea. Just need to nib a couple of areas where trash has stuck to the paint work but nothing major. Then the mesh on the vents need to go black, under seal the body, then the mammoth task of bolting every thing back up again
  5. Right here goes, im just going to put up some progression pictures up now I have a bit of time. My a*se hasn't seemed to have seen a chair for a about 2 weeks!!!!
  6. the greyness of the pearl is usually caused by the amount of pearl coats layed down and brightness of white ground coat. I sprayed a lambretta scooter with 3 stage pearl, using a brilliant white ground coat then gave it 2 medium coats of pearl and the result was that is still looked bright white but when the light hit it whether it street lamp or sunlight the pearl really came out and looked spot on. So as said depending on how bright your base/ground coat and instead of 4-5 coats of pearl reduce it down. But as said any future repairs can be a real nightmare task.
  7. absolutely amazed by the work done, makes a huge difference, well impressed
  8. Pm the raven, im pretty sure he has one that he will sell
  9. Love it mate, especially how super tidy that engine bay looks. In the best colour combo to, white and black Top job
  10. I think you can menouver it so the first turbo comes out seperately but i think its better to remove the whole lot. Also its usually advised AFAIK to get them both rebuilt rather than just the 1, as i imagine that you would be getting rebuilt with steel internals. I could be wrong but that was the advise I was given
  11. I think most end up with facelift indicators to update their car, as the orange "blobs" look a bit dated now. As for the wiring, its pretty straight forward, but obviously depends on how hands on you are.
  12. As said dont get a bomex then. You will be fine with a do luck tho
  13. I also have a stock second turbo in good condition if needed.
  14. Also the bomex bumper requires crash bar removal. I had to on mine but am changing to another bumper soon and rplacing the crash bar. Ive had quite alot of experience of mad motors and never had an issue with them
  15. As peter has said, but be really thorough when checking for leaks. It happened to me, so i pressurised the system and was shocked to find 2 or 3 leaks mainly from the intercooler piping
  16. If Al doesnt have it, ill probably take but i first need to measure my bonnet so I can get a courier price.
  17. Tempted by this, i dont suppose you know roughly how much it would be to get this couriered?
  18. Jesus, I saw a commotion at one of the corners when the drift racing was on, i really didnt realise how serious it was. I hope that poor lad makes a full and speedy recovery
  19. Congratulations, great figures there. Also a big well done to Dave (supraloopy) another quality project he has done, workmanship is second to none, well done mate.
