  1. monsween - the sub encloser has the correct volume for the sub, thats why i put it that side instead fo the other side like in picture "attempt two" the bare side infront of the battery may well have a alloy plac (think thats spelt right) put there, but unsire on what to have engraved
  2. lol, i never really noticed until you just said. i must admit its not as heavy as i thought it would be. i could lift it in and out single handedly dibbly did you do that yourself cos its pretty sweet. though confused to how your bottles are seccured and where the sub is. nice though
  3. firstly please feel free to move this elsewhere if you see fit to. After being tuely inspired my Blackies boot build i was really upset to hear he wasnt doing them anymore. After alot of searching around and not finding anywhere able to match it for price i thought i would give it a go myself. started on monday finnished today. This is what my old boot use to look like. Pretty boring i must admit, though there was alot to try and fit into the same style as blackies old ones including (not pictured) a relocated battery it took alot of planning and a pretty tight fit. These pics show the progress of the build. Monday sorted out the base and sides. and then the middle section. first trial fit, you may notice amps and the battery moving around as i kept finding that the boot lid would hit on some objects. attempt two Tuesday cut the top (lid) to shape and then shaped it for the nos can trial fit i then went and leathered it. Wednesday fitting it back in and wiring it all up The finnished item im pretty happy with it. was a pain wrapping the leather around the cut out for the nos can but we got there in the end. Thanks to Blackie for the encouragement to do it myself and the email supports. hope you apporve.
  4. is this the follow up from last months jap meet at thurrock, was a good laugh, abit cold, this sounds like it could be a laugh, is it a supra only or any jap car, guessing any but dont wanna invite my mate in his rx7 if its a supra only
  5. i hate the snow so not me, though very near to me
  6. the one saturday night was myself, wasnt down there long but did notice you parked up.
  7. was about to say i wish they were doing this app for the blackberry storm when i discovered on google that they are and dynolicious say it should be out soon cant wait
  8. no worries its all sorted now, next door naighbour (jap car builder) just glanced over it and said its not a problem, the gauge isnt a hundred percent accreate (sorry cant spell the word) and that it would give a better reading if connected to the sump or around that area. the oil leak is like a tear drop a day and said once its a lil warmer outside we will tighten the sender units up on the relocation kit to stop it.
  9. that possibly was me as i was parked right near where the lambo and farrari came in and stopped. totally agree with regards to nowhere near as nice as jap stuff, never been a fan of the italians supercars
  10. there is no cooler, the sanwich plate i refer to is part of the relocation kit, it has the two braided lines going into it and that is where the filter is connected to. the two senders are connected to that piece, which is where the charcoal connister use to be. it doesnt just drop it raises to 45-60 under acceleration and then when not accelerating glides down to between 0 and 10 psi. if i come to a stop it will slowly start to climb but climbs mainly under acceleration. almost like a rev counter to be honest. hope this makes sence
  11. i have done a search and not found anything relavant to what im after knowing. have an oil psi and oil temp gauge fitted to a oil filter relocation kit. when i start the car up the oil psi shoots up to about 70-80psi . once its warmed up it rops to about 40psi. now the main question is whiles accelarating the psi is 40 - 50 but when slowing down the psi drops to between 0 and 15 psi is this right? was wondering if it has something to do with the return valve thing. i know its not a faulty sender unit or gauge was just wondering if anyone has any ideas what it could be or if this is infact ok for it to do. there is a very slight and i mean very slight oil leak round the sandwich plate that the senders attach to but i wouldnt of thought that would of made much difference would it?
  12. really looking forward to this, though a little diapointed there arnt many supra going. but then again least were not a scooby club theres so many of them around, the other weekend i had 26 scooby drive past me on the sea front. im glad to be an owner of a car which isnt as common as colds this christmas

  14. another southender, wlecome.
  15. least its not as slow as my nitrous sponsors to send there stuff, when ordering from them stuff arrives next day if there sending you stuff which isnt ordered like the 200 buisness cards and 200 stickers it took 2 months to arrive.
  16. really enjoyed last night, first supra meet iv been to where there has been over 15 supras. congrats to those who won and came second on the comps, now i know what im up against lol
  17. much appriciated, is there a way to check?
  18. thats a shame, iv tried painted bulbs before, they just crack and then go back to a green colour.
  19. tony is he refering to the little lights above the switches? cos i can do that
  20. oh i see, so one for each switch then. still might give that a good though they do say blue and green should never be seen
